The Paul brothers are definitely filling the void of whatever is missing in these kids' lives, whatever is missing who fucken knows. Who knows what the next void will be. If you can fill it, you'd be a millionaire though.

Yeah, I should qualify that I like the Current PewDiePie. I didn't really watch many of his videos before he was witch-hunted by WSJ, and I even subscribed to his channel out of spite :)

I totally agree that there is no potential in these two potatoes from Ohio. They showed through their actions that they have no decency nor intelligence, and they are in it for a quick buck ripping off gullible children.

I mean I think this is the X factor. Like 15 years ago I would be in this target age range, but then you'd write a letter to a favorite football player, you'd get the form letter back, and you'd grow up a little. Brett Favre had better things to do then write me letters. So then you'd still talk about the Packers or the new cartoon or movie or game, and you wouldn't have any real connection to it. You would have fights about them, depending on age. But there was no cult. Because you grew up and realized your idols had better things to do. That's why they were your idols. Now, these YouTube people have nothing better to do. So they can respond back. Because that's all they are. A trending hashtag.

First and only thing of PewDiePie I've watched was him screaming at nothing in The Last of Us for about a minute. Sounds like it might be worth giving the guy another look though.

But yeah, this incident is just an inconvenience to them by the end of the month I'm sure. A fender bender. They'll become more irrelevant with time and age, I hope.

Its blurry on the whiteboard at 0:55, but it looks like Logan will come back to vlog on Wednesday.

He also looks like hes scheduled to speak on the Ellen Show and Dr. Phil, probably to give out a sob sorry to rekindle his relationship with the mainstream media

I hope Dr. Phil perforates his asshole: he's done it to lolcow and celebrity guests before (See: Sexy Vegan, any time some washed-up druggie celeb walks their sob story out on his show).

I think the amazing cunt brothers are popular because they are extremely mentally and emotionally underdeveloped, while at the same time they're old enough to do adult things that kids think are cool. They're literally what every dumb kid these days want to be, they're meme-spouting, lecherous, rich, produce music, have expensive cars and knick knacks, and they essentially get to spend their lives partying while broadcasting it all online for views. They're overgrown 12 year olds living every 12 year old's dream, so it's only natural that kids would admire them. Most adults find them completely unbearable, but to kids they see them as another one of them that has all the perks they don't have access to yet, they're essentially the cool kids in middle school that had rich parents they gave them whatever they wanted and never gave a shit what they did as long as they didn't bother them. But the main problem with their little set up is that they're rapidly losing their youth and approaching the event horizon where they'll soon be at the age where even most kids will realize that it's pathetic for someone that old to be doing stupid shit like this. It's the same thing that's causing Onision to fall apart, only it's happening much more rapidly for them because their shit genes make it harder for them to hide their age and they're even more childish than onion so their behavior is even more difficult to rationalize. Before long their success will fade away and they'll go the way of every other obnoxious youtuber that kept pushing the line until they eventually fell over and plummeted all the way down to complete obscurity. They're a couple of self destructive shitheads that managed to strike it rich with their dumbfuckery and they're too dense to realize that the same thing that got them to the top will soon shatter the foundation they've built everything on and leave them in complete misery desperately trying regain their old success.

Gotta love those shots of Logan looking sad backed with the piano music and virtue-signalling voiceovers. You can tell he had his entire production crew going over every second of this video and taking out anything that would make him look even remotely bad, he's using pretty much every trick in the book for when a youtube star needs to tell everyone "i'm totally sorry you guys, seriously!"

Eh, whether he genuinely feels like making an effort to promote suicide prevention or he just did it as a PR move to appease the people that disliked him and earn good press....
I think that video was definitely the right way to go about it. Although it could´ve used less ´Logan looking all deep in thought and shit´ shots, which made it feel more like a self-serving attempt at still trying to profit off of suicide while trying to look deep and attractive.

As obnoxious as Logan is -and that's putting it very lightly-, I think, deep down, I want to believe he'll change and become a better person from all of this. I mean, shit, I don't think anyone could go through the public ass reaming he went through and not change as a person.

Sure, it reeks as a PR move. No doubts there. But I hope he learned that just because one is famous, doesn't mean they're immune from consequences, and that saying 'I'm sorry' is an automatic fix for everything and things can go back to the way they were before. He still has to deal with a lot more fallout from all of this, especially with his other Japan vlogs of him acting disrespectful towards the locals, too.

Either way, he'll truly be deserving of a second chance if he can mature as a person in the long run, not just from a single video put through the PR spin cycle. People have, for better or for worse, emerged from far worse public scourging (i.e. Mel Gibson getting Best Picture and Best Director noms for Hacksaw Ridge, despite being blacklisted by the industry after his drunken rant years ago)

... Though the cynical side of me believes he'll be all sobered up and mature for maybe a month or so, and then quickly go back to making obnoxious videos of him being a manchild again.
