No. But I'm not complaining about it or trying to change it or anything. I think the biggest take-away from the paper for me is that agency isn't black and white, and that's not a conversation we should be scared having. Nothing more, nothing less. Just "hey, we should be able to talk about this stuff"

I often find that people who are insistent that they're happy with someone are often lying to themselves. Because, let's face it, Jake, Alison isn't a person. Alison is her BPD. And although BPD does settle down as people age, will you still love Alison when she's old, fat, and even more wrinkled than she is now? All Alison has is her looks. Her personality is a result of her BPD. She's not particularly intelligent. She acts like a prepubescent teenage girl. There is very little about her that is actually likable.
