It makes no sense for him to write an autobiography not unless he's planning on retiring soon. Otherwise it can be chalked up to his autism.
I'm genuinely surprised to see his own lack of self-awareness - I kind of assumed he had mostly stayed out of being a lolcow because he at least could acknowledge certain truths to himself. I mean, something like Rex Viper is cringe but if he enjoys doing it and doesn't believe it to be that serious it's one thing, but looking at the excerpts he really does come across as someone who takes himself Very Seriously. Comparing himself to Rob Zombie is a choice and a half. It makes me wonder how much Mike and the others had to tard wrangle his worst autisic traits and keep them out of the public eye.

This would have to drop the one day I don't visit the Farms :sigh:

Anyway, I see people giving James/April slack for the foreword/forward thing, but I am less sympathetic. There is no excuse for native English speakers in their 40s to confuse forward and foreword. Have these two never read a book in their lives?

You know I had a thought reading through this thread: Assuming James is telling the truth about his childhood - and nobody would lie about being a pants-shitting retard - he's remarkably well-adjusted. It makes me wonder how Chris would have turned out given proper care. He's a similar age to James but Borb decided not to put him in a special-ed school and just try to placate him instead of seeking professional help. Really makes you think.

To be fair, I do think James lucked out - not just from having more attentive parents, but also meeting people who enabled him to make online videos and make money off it. Who knows how James would've worked if he actually would've had to work in a normal office enviroment? Going by if the 4chan posts are true he'd probably be seen as the office weirdo at the very least; add that he seems to have the classic little self-awareness that comes across in some of the excerpts... well, again, he was lucky to have the crew around him.

He's been writing since at least 2002 BEFORE he got famous. The ego on that man.
Well, that's not quite right, after we got autism confirmed I would say that is some kind of childish delusion on his part. I mean, he interviewed himself as a intro for his little home movies.
The little samples we have seen are very interesting, but I hope someone uploads it in full.
Also, there's supposedly a audible version coming soon, narrated by Rolfe himself. Wonder if he's going to notice all the typos.

Holy fuck that is autistic. Is his wife a bit autistic or possibly slightly dumb aswell? Bitch should have stopped this instead of writing a forward (what the fucking fuck? Bitch please what the fuck? She wrote a forward :lit: )

Isn't she a art-teacher or sumthin' leftish? No wonder, if i remember correctly, she allows Cuck-Jim the bare minimum to ride the gravy train.

I get that feeling. The fact that she dated and married James is weird. I have close family members with autism and normal women are completely repelled by them. She also looks weird and unemotional in the few pics we've seen of her.

"When I was in school I was so autistic that I would just piss my pants instead of using the bathroom".

James, you could have left that part out. I mean, come on man.

edit: I only see two reviews on Amazon right now rather than the 14 from the photo @BrunoMattei shared. Looks like they were took off.

I first thought you meant James, but it is Justin you mean right?
Yes. It's well documented.

I discovered this and found it interesting:

TLDR: autistic manchild lucks out in making viral videos and is able to have a very successful career as a content creator who lacks any kind of self-awareness in a sweetly sentimental success story.

In sum: the dude massively lucked out in creating something that was (1) genuinely funny and (2) touched the nostalgia receptors of an entire generation. Then he lucked out even more by being close friends with guys who extensively understood the games of that generation and helped him.
