"When I was in school I was so autistic that I would just piss my pants instead of using the bathroom".

James, you could have left that part out. I mean, come on man.

Damn reading all this really does put everything into perspective. I remember reading a 4chan post years ago by someone who was apparently affiliated with James who wrote about how James was clearly autistic and had weird idiosyncrasies. In a lot of ways I'm proud that James was able to overcome all that and make something of himself on the internet for a while. This book however is not doing him any favors and I actually feel really bad for him since he seems to unknowingly be opening himself up to further ridicule.

With that said I find it really heart warming reading about how much he loves his family. That's definitely not a negative trait. I do however wonder if his autism or whatever had anything to do with pushing his older friends away. Regardless, some interesting information that probably shouldn't have been made public.

Someone shitposting a bunch of r/thecinemassacretruth memes on the book's Amazon page:

I remember when some fags would get mad at me for saying James went to a special ed school whenever he'd do something pants on head retarded.

I hope they all read this fucking book lmfao

This shit is so ridiculous I wonder if Red Cow will even touch it. It almost seems impossible to even comment on this without seemingly just shitting on the guy.

Edit: I just saw the video. "It says not for resale, but it won't be there when you buy it." lmfao this fuckin' guy made a movie holy shit i'm such a fucking failure at life
Honestly reading this makes me feel better about myself. I am someone who has high function autism. And it sounds like I'm higher than James on the spectrum.
Like dude legit makes me feel better about my self and upbringing.
I never pissed myself. Why in God's name would he write that?

If a lower function autistic weirdo can become a big success on YouTube to the point he had tons of followers who would defend him for what every reasons. Than that means my life can actually be better than I expect.

This actually gave the courage to propose to my girlfriend.
Thank you James for being such a loser that I feel better about myself

I think the craziest thing I got from this was a comment that followed it in TCT reddit. Someone was like "I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he couldn't be that up his own ass. But he has been. For a long time."

Honkey, this is the guy that did an intro to the Six Snix Flix when he was like 16 and treated it all like high art. Where the hell has this fanbase been for the past decade?

I get that feeling. The fact that she dated and married James is weird. I have close family members with autism and normal women are completely repelled by them. She also looks weird and unemotional in the few pics we've seen of her.
This brings a good point. What DO we know about the wife in general? Seems like the blind leading the blind and james just going with it because he loves her so much.

I think he just doesn't know any better. That's why you play the field, get new experiences, figure out relationships instead of just sticking with the first girl you ever put your dick inside. And vice versa obviously.

It's pretty obvious he hates doing the character/videos now since he's not putting effort into them anymore.

You can just tell he's miserable.

What I want to know is who's still watching?
I'm willing to bet that the videos are popular overseas. Kind of like how the Fast and the Furious movies do mediocre box office in North America but make a killing elsewhere because reasons.

Edit: holy fuck this is brutal.

He could have shot this anywhere. This set is very to replicate. Kind of reiterates the point that he massively fucked up by shooting in L.A.

It's funny. He said he was doing corporate videos in a vlog from a million years ago and now it's wedding videos. With wedding videos, which can be lucrative, you have to go out and film that shit and then edit it and all that. It's largely an independent enterprise. I don't think I've ever seen a company hire editors for wedding videos. Corporate shit, yes, for sure.

I also find the line "it was a long gradual climb" to be odd and I don't think I'm splitting hairs. He uploaded the Castlevania 2 video to YT in 2006. Two years later he's able to do this full time. There's another line from the book where he whines about being independent and not having enough time. just wow.

James on 9/11. Just thought this was worth sharing.

This goes over the taxes and fees for the AVGN movie. Firstly, why not setup a corporate account and have the money deposited from Indiegogo into the account instead of through Paypal? Secondly, why report this as income? I'm sure that there were loopholes to keep the money and use it for the production. Thirdly, he fell down the classic trap for Kickstarter people where they didn't appropriately budget for rewards. You couldn't have contacted a printer and inquire how much it would cost to have X number of headshots printed and sent out? Fourthly, even if you did lose 30% of the Kickstarter/Indiegogo money reducing it down by about 100 grand WHY IN THE FUCK DID YOU STILL SHOOT IN EXPENSIVE AS FUCK LOS ANGELAS?

RIP all of the celluoids that were harmed by James

His thoughts on the movie:

Fair enough. You made a movie just for you. Golf clap. There's a number of directors who do that. That's fine BUT when you have your hand out for donations it's kind of a different matter. You have the expectations of the people who gave you money to live up to. If I had my hand out for donations and made a feature where ultimately I liked it but the audience did not then I'd be 2nd guessing the quality of the film in question. So it's either he's lying to himself or it's another among the endless examples of James being unable to see the forest for the trees. But keep in mind the phrase "It's a fun-loving tribute to sci-fi B-movies, not an Oscar-winning drama."

avgn book 6.jpg

Oh, so now his "fun-loving tribute to sci-fi B-movies" has a message? Well what do ya' know? It's either mindless popcorn fun or it's a movie with a point to make. You cannot have it both ways. No one is making the argument that Killer Clowns from Outerspace is about xenophobia. FFS, man.

His response to critics. James is unique among Youtube people in that he has always operated in a bubble. He doesn't interact on YT or social media. He doesn't really crossover to other YT people unless they are within his bubble. How Doug Walker managed to get something out of James and parlay that into a career screaming about kiddie movies I don't know. But my point is that nothing can really get through that bubble he has. I assume that the comments he's referring to here are things whispered to him through Screen Wave and Mike Matei.

Speaking of the movie, here it is for free.

Nobody and i mean fucking nobody on the internet made any sort of connection between the alien in the movie and the political questions about immigrants. He made that part up. I don't fucking believe him. He must have added that part or been forced to add it by his nagging bitch. People's laughter at the film was more of the fact the Nerd was the cuck of the film while the black got with the white woman. Instantly making it a cuck joke. No one even mentioned politics. What made your film shit was also the dog shit review of ET. It was not worth the wait or suffering those stupid blog posts.
I don't really remember people complaining that he was too angry, if they did they shut the fuck up after they got mocked for not noticing the "Angry" in Angry Video Game Nerd. That last pic seems like he was letting troll youtube comments rent free space in his head.
That and a lot of the subreddit's arguments could have been avoided, if he had just told the 3 idiots to stay off camera unless they are in a full body suit like Mike's many appearances.

James goes over his suicide attempt after filming some friends of his completely trashing a dorm and having interviews with his friends and himself in the video. Drowning yourself is not exactly the most effective suicide method not unless you're taking something to knock your ass out. It's obviously just a cry for help. I feel mean for mocking this but I don't really consider this to be a suicide attempt. Also, he mimics the kid trying to kill himself in Cyber Seduction:

Also note the lack of acceptance that he was in the wrong.
