Honestly, for a goober like Mike…That girlfriend isn’t too bad. She’s definitely not the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen but Mike could have done a LOT worse. I’ve seen some of the girlfriends that these “sorta ok looking kinda average” dudes like Mike get and they’re more often than not, big fat hambeasts.

We shit talk James a lot here but it really is impressive one dude inspired an entire genre of video on his own. Like there are countless channels on Youtube directly inspired by this guy. You could make a massive spreadsheet of everyone inspired by the nerd. He was massively influential. Not something you can say about everyone.

The guy is primarily focused on Twitch not Youtube. According to the Twitch leaks, Matei earned close to $100,000 from August 2019 til September 2021. Any money he makes off Youtube is just doubledipping from Twitch streams he already did where he makes the most money from subs, bits, and also ad revenue.

August 2019 to September 2021 is over 2 years not 3. The revenue was earned in 5 months of 2019, all of 2020, and 9 months of 2021. Matei earned close to $49,000 a year from Twitch. You also forgot that he also gets ad revenue from uploading his VODs to Youtube.

I liked History and English class more. The “reading books” sort of English class not the “writing critical lens essays and other weird papers” part of English.
But yeah Science and Math were not my strong suits to say the least…

I lost it at Linear Algebra and the extents were vector spaces and matrix multiplications. They really aren't 'that bad' that the average person can't get a reasonable handle on. You average nigger can't ever solve a quadratic formula. Just taking functions and variables to math is kinda easy to me. The hard part starts when you're doing quantum calcs with matrices and applying them to computer logic.

Honestly, what do people think would have been a good cutoff point for James? Just like how James is the Simpsons of internet reviewers I think a lot of the issues with the recent episodes are just simply through tedium doing this for so long.
James has been on the web and was pretty much the first ‘angry’ gamer critic out there, time is the biggest enemy here I think and I’m not really sure what he could do at this point, what do people really want to see for a modern AVGN episode?

I ended up doing Linear Algebra years ago and it was piss easy for me, even moreso than back in high school. Most of Calculus is also very easy. It's actually a good way to get into CGI.
I think this is a hard question to answer because I don't think James could do most proper responses. It's common knowledge now that James isn't really a gamer and much of the AVGN stemmed from his childhood experiences. The easy answer of digging into more obscure titles and relatively newer releases couldn't work since James doesn't care much about them, and like them or not people like Nitro Rad and Scott the Woz, who are much more into video games in general, have largely picked up where the AVGN left off during its peak popularity. I also think James could've leaned into the historical/informative angle like the Swordquest and Nintendo Power episodes, since that's still a thriving genre while gross out/vulgar comedy has been withering on youtube, but that would again require James to be passionate about a medium he clearly isn't.
