As far as all the Soylent shit goes. I can tell that this is a product and company he probably didn't even know existed. James wanted the money from Soylent so he did the ad. Gun Youtuber and potential future Texas congressman Brandon Herrera has openly admitted that he does Raid Shadow Legends sponsors for quick easy money to fund the channel. James does the same thing because most of his content is probably severely demonetized. I mean he's had to censor out the swearing in some of the AVGN YouTube shorts clips which is depressing to see.

I don't think we'll see Soylent as a sponsor in the future hopefully. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.
The video was fairly entertaining at least. John and James have good chemistry, not as good as Mike and James but I understand Mike just wants to do his streaming stuff since it doesn't require a lot of work.

Rolfe sounds like a deflating balloon. The energy is truly gone.

They let the 32X glitch and do absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. Even as a child I'd hit the games with a Q-tip. They didn't even reseat the contacts, just hit the reset button.

Primal rage was a shitty game, with a weird banning campaign. It was one mom angry that one of the fatalities was a monkey pissing on its dying opponent.

It was even the Genesis version. The bitch mom got Best Buy to pull the game off the shelves.

The publisher didn't back down and actually submitted the game for re-rating by the ESRB, who once again gave it a T for teen rating, which meant it was the bitch mom's fault, since her kid was 11.

Or you know, manage her fucking house. If she didn't want her kid playing the pissing monkey game, she could have confiscated it.

James only “um yeahs” when there’s more than two people in the room.
At the very least, James’ commentary is interesting because of his knowledge of film and film history.

Elfy and Beardo have nothing interesting to say and the majority of their content is them saying shit the clapping seals over on TCT want to hear. Beardo barely says anything at all, he actually “um yeahs” more than James, and it’s mostly just Elfy bugging his goofy little eyes out while saying dumb shit. Then you watch their non James content and realize why they keep going back to making James content, they have no redeeming qualities as content creators and there’s no reason to watch any of their non James content. If you don’t hate James with a burning rage, there’s really no reason to watch them at all.

They only appeal to TCT speds because of what they’re saying AKA “Nerd Man Bad” - 🤖, not because of who they are.
It could be an artichoke and a cumquat sitting on two wooden stools in a white room. As long as there was a way for said food items to talk and say “Nerd Man Bad”, TCT speds would be getting them 20-30k views.

Did you see his face in the ad? He looked like he was about to laugh the entire time. Again like I said, he did it for quick cash like other YouTubers I’ve seen.
It was still fucking retarded to do. Like at least NordVPN pertains to what’s on the channel and anybody can do a Raycon ad since they’re all making videos and it makes sense to get sponsored by a product that could make people watch your videos easier.
But it’s always so weird seeing gaming YouTubers do advertisements for those “food in a box” type things like Green Chef or whatever. Like at least get sponsors that sorta fit your content.

Like JonTron is always promoting some mobile game or a VPN or some internet browser. That shit makes sense.
I know The Bimster wants to make that dough but he should stick to products that pertain to the channel. I’m sure there’s hundreds of video or gaming products scrambling to get on an AVGN video which do pretty good numbers.
Soylent feels like something Game Grumps would advertise.
