Yeah but if that was the case, why not just repeat several chunks of the bit instead? It's far better than the newer script as well.

My main issue with TCT is the cult around Bootsy. I’m an oldfag when it comes to Cinemassacre, i stopped watching around 2011 as i didn’t find it entertaining anymore, the nerd character just started getting stale in 2009-10 imo. I have no memories of this Bootsy guy, as a matter of fact i didn’t even know who he was until 2 years ago (when i discovered TCT). I know now that he’s an old friend of James and Mike’s.

But anyway, after reading about him on TCT i decided to check out some of the videos he was in, Board James, Bootsy beats, etc (these were produced around 2014-15 or so i think) and my God, what an uncharismatic boring fuck he was, he’s so monotone that he seems schizoid, his face shows almost no emotion. Why are the TCT people so obsessed with this guy? What’s the appeal?

I think a lot of Bootsy's appeal was the fact that he was legit really good at difficult old games on a channel that is mostly about old games. He is WAY better at vidya than James and Mike combined so The Bootsy Beats series had a lot of potential that was lost immediately when he and Mike had their gay falling out.

If someone desires the 80s/90s nerd/videogame nostalgia fueled guitar led rock I think Powerglove is still touring. Hell even DragonForce has been really playing up the kitschy 90s nostalgia and nintendo sound as of late, and those are actual musicians who add and not subtract when performing a cover song. I know Rex was performing at a convention center, not known for acoustics - but they could easily invest in some better lighting and effects to bring on tour to distract from the crappy performance.

Also, props to their left handed guitarist (I was one) but he's playing a right-handed guitar upside down. Did he not bring his own on the tour? Is this a borrowed guitar he didn't want to restring? Its not exactly comfortable to do so even for practice at a friend's house let alone playing in front of a crowd for an hour.

It’s a self admitted Italian style Fascist. So yeah autism and probably some sort of brain trauma. I watched the video in bits and pieces and it was essentially if you took the subreddit in it’s current state and anthropomorphised it.

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a Truther on camera (Elfy and Beardo from Red Cow Arcade don’t count) and I can’t say I’m surprised. It looks, especially in that screenshot, like a 5th Beatle that John and the others keep chained in the basement.

Well, I liked Bootsy because he was a cool 3rd dynamic to James and Mike sometimes and he was enjoyable in Board James.
Seeing him beat Back to the Future 3 back in the day blew my mind.

But for the Truthers, he’s seen as some sort of Martyr, a victim if you will.
For the longest time, TCT’s tagline to track active members was “X number of people missing Bootsy.”

While it’s true that Bootsy was wronged by Mike and James did absolutely nothing about it (one of his major issues imo), they’ve made what was done far worse than what happened.
They turned a sad falling out of old friends into it being the equivalent of Mike killing Bootsy’s dog and burning his house down.

They tried the do the same thing with Kyle Justin. Ironically enough, Kyle Justin’s excuse for not appearing on screen anymore is because he’s got no time and he’s too busy with his four kids.

After looking into who Bootsy was, I cared less about him because the dude is like that schmuck Pat Contri IRL. He’s a weird leftist douchebag.

What let’s me know that it’s all bullshit is what they did with Mike and then the slobs, especially Kieran, after they made their exit. Truthers shifted from championing Bootsy and Kyle Justin as their martyrs and actually started to take up arms for Mike despite him being the Bane of their existence for many years. Then they did the same with Kieran. All of a sudden he was a victim, Nevermind that he was called an ugly nasty caveman slob for 5 or so years.

Yeah that’s definitely why a lot of people liked him. Bootsy Beats was good despite Bootsy being somewhat flat and dry in that.




If Rex Viper makes James happy, more power to him. But Jesus Christ it’s very cringy. Cringe is an overused term these days but it’s appropriate here. Rex Viper is pure, unadulterated Cringe.

The singer's so fucking painfully off key it physically hurts to listen to. I actually didn't mind the music itself. It's like some kind of videogame inspired dragon force/iron maiden wannabe stuff. Without the vocals it kind of reminds me of old ocremix type stuff. I have always kind of liked video game remixes and stuff.

I mean they all kind of suck and I got to the bad religion song and I was done with that shit the singer absolutely butchered that song but they looked like they were having fun at least. The drummer guy looked stoked as fuck the whole time and James actually seemed happy doing something for a change.

Sorry if someone answered, the site seems to mess up, but i like Bootsy, he reminds me of a old friend of mine, soft spoken, doesn't rage or take "too much space" and is somewhat of a master of games, doesn't brag, he is just a really chill dude and the perfect balance to Mike and Bimmy...
