@BullfrogBill I don't think what you are understanding is that there is a specific online component that requires somebody to be a lolcow. A lolcow isn't just somebody that does embarrassing stuff, it is somebody who does embarrassing stuff through the internet. They are eccentric personalities who broadcast their eccentric behavior online. That online component is what differentiates somebody who is just an eccentric personality from a lolcow.

I brought this up in another thread years ago, but the reason why people don't consider Alison Rapp and her husband to be cows anymore is because they both stopped posting on the internet. In real life they are probably both the same people that they were online. But by not posting online removes that specific internet element that made them lolcows. Same thing applies to people like Tommy Tooter or John Bulla: whether or not they were online they were both train wrecks and weirdos in their personal lives. But by broadcasting those things online is what specifically made them into lolcows.

What people in this thread are trying to say to you is that while there are things that lay the groundwork for James being a cow, they are very minuscule. He doesn't spend his days lashing out or fighting with his fans the way other content creator cows do. Him writing a book that sheds some light on embarrassing elements of who he is while interesting isn't that big of a factor in him being a cow. Tweets an be an element in making someone a cow because they are coming from an online platform. Which is why for spergs like Tomlinson or MovieBob Twitter is a core factor for why they are both considered cows.

I'll reiterate what I said the other day: James has the seeds for turning into a big cow similar to DSP but he has largely avoided going down that route. Things like Rex Viper and his book are entertaining, but they are relatively small potatoes. He needs just a little bit more to elevate himself to a serious level of cow before we can throughly laugh at him on a regular basis.

All we know of his finances is that he's terrible at marketing and missed out on millions of dollars in his heyday because he didn't set up a Patreon or do a lot of merchandise. A lot of his stuff is demonetized, but his contracts with ScrewAttack and Screenwave and assorted con appearances likely did push him well over a million dollars.

A lot of his 'rental reviews' videos were pretty good. The slobs wrecked it though, by being off putting and gross. I'm sad to see this latest horror video do bad, it was a refreshing 'good James' style video. That kind of thing doing bad proves that years of channel neglect and laziness have taken a serious toll.

I imagine he's got enough money for his kids to be fine. There's no way he's not a multimillionaire, at least in earnings. If he blew it all on nonsense, that's, so far, behind the scenes and nothing can help that.

I never believe any of these 'net worth' listing, but I've seen his value from $600k to $1.5m on a quick search.
