Most of actually meaningful streamers from OnlyFangs wanted to let it go asap.
If maldy weren't mentally retarded it would never reach the current level of drama. But him multiplying down just fuels it.

Most of LSF drama is organic, he was collecting disdain for a long time. But it's hard to expose someone for being wrong when general public is ignorant of topic.

I have a hard time taking it seriously. Most of those streamers have been in the game for a while, they know they would cannibalize their audience in a big collab like OnlyFangs. A cursory look at a few large and small streamers on social blade show small gains even before the drama, with the caveat that there was a spike with the Pirate drama.

I believe the part about Tyler1, though. He plays his persona impeccably. Very few streamers bring that kind of energy and WoW is just so boring to watch.

When I reported him the first time, I was told that others had also been reporting him but management won't do anything about it because of JoeyRay. AFAIK he changed teams on Diablo III to focus on hacks after insisting he could help prevent more of the same dupe shit we'd been seeing. It wasn't done as a punishment. Nepo babies get their way at Blizzard. I also wasn't aware of anything outside of work in 2011.

I gotta rate it fake and gay from the first line. It might not have been a boost in viewers, but its an easy few hundred hours of content for streamers. Breaks up the monotony of raging over League, plus you get one last burst of attention if you get yourself killed doing something silly or heroic before you switch back to your normal content.

Has it really been a scramble either? Most creators did a reaction to his roach, then a few more did a wtf reaction to his meltdown. Creators seem to have been offput by Jason's behaviour more than anything.

This saga has been... special. In a sense, it's kinda surprising to me how it was him making an ass out of himself playing a 20 years old game that was the tipping point rather than him making an ass out of himself constantly giving bad advice for a few years, but then again most people probably don't have the knowledge to vet his advice and those who do have better things to do than watch him or get into an argument with someone who will never admit mistakes.

The worse thing is, with his programming, he could just take a look at Juju Adam's libraries and see how properly code. Granted I couldn't tell you if Juju's libraries code structure is any good, but Juju has a proven track record at least. Maldavius will never finish his furry game because he knows his code is bad and it demotivates him. He'll just push it out of mind, out of sight. He also wants to focus on his streaming career. Which is fine, by itself, but yeah nobody likes liars.

But even more people dislike bad WoW players it seems. I know it shouldn't be, but it's still crazy to me how many people give importance to that game. I'm underestimating people's autism. Retail is in a very bad state, overworld too easy because of scaling and undertuned content for story ppl and bad writing. Classic is full of botters and gold transactions for GDKP because people don't want to play the actual game, they just want endgame loot and fame. It will never be like in 2004, there's too much knowledge and optimizations known.

His behaviour is still pretty poor though, in the context of game etiquette, and he deserves to be flamed for it. What surprises me is how many people came out of the woodwork to participate in that public stoning.
