I guarantee there is gayops going on with the tally. There always will be on things of this size. The question how much of it is going on, and the answer is probably not a whole lot.
There are going to be people who find ways to sign multiple times, or foreigners find a way to vote, but going by the current rate of signatures, I'd say it's not that much. You had some bigger "influencers" throw in their support for this early today or late yesterday, so the word is getting out. It's also hitting critical mass with people talking about it in the English world, and that's been quickly bleeding into the Euro-language side of the Internet.

The numbers are within reason, so while there are always gayops, they likely aren't being done on a mass scale at this point. That's also one of the reasons why content creators and the like talking about this can be important. If there's a lot of buzz about it from various groups, and a lot of people throwing out support, it's hard to blow it off as just "some people rigged a poll."
