Or it could be that they had all types of kompromat, not just sexual. The island was wired with video cameras. Why not microphones? You go to the island, don't fuck the girls, but you also say things "in private" that will ruin your life, because politicians drink and talk shop when they wouldn't.

The Trump administration wouldn't have brought up Epstein at all if there was anything tying Trump to crimes committed with Epstein. It just wouldn't make any sense. The most likely scenario is documents Bondi and co. expected to get (because there was no legal way to not turn them over) have been "lost" by lifer bureaucrats just before anyone could get to them. Some of them were almost certainly destroyed long, long ago.

And we know why: Epstein was an intelligence asset for Our Greatest Ally, a country so rabid and zealous they, yes, probably have compromising info on everyone in Washington for fear they won't get their perpetually gibs. Hell, they might even have kompromat on random Americans. (How many VPN companies are based out of Israel?) Information-based mutually assured destruction.

It's possible. Killing yourself is, paradoxically for a form of quitting, quite hard to do. So if it's the case I imagine they were going quite hard on him. But they had a lot to work with and the ability to cut him off from all support networks. It's possible.

But if you can ensure the cameras are off, you can ensure the guards are complicit - two things which both appear to be true - and that the coroner will be on your side - which is likely to be true - then it's actually more sure to just have someone go in and choke him than to hope he follows through at the right time you have everything set up.

Not saying you must be wrong, but those are my reasons for thinking he was directly killed rather than pressured into suicide. He also had good reason to think he had some cards left to play since he personally knew a lot of compromising information on powerful people and could threaten to talk. They've killed many people for lesser reasons than Epstein.

The guy was a psycho. If he actually did kill himself (fat chance) it was because he was never going to get to have fun (that is to say rape kids) again in his life. But I can't see him killing himself because of threats to someone else. Why would a psycho care?

That whole kill yourself and we'll spare your family is for someone you know to have some morality and concern for others, or to allow someone to die with dignity, neither of which apply to that shitstain. I think he's dead but he didn't kill himself. At least not for THAT reason.

I would legit believe that he killed himself to spite assassins more than he killed himself to save anyone he knew.

If he killed himself, then I wouldn't even give him the dignity of that motivation so much as I'd expect an inability to live with not being powerful and wealthy.

But as someone succinctly put it above, if he did kill himself he managed to do it to coincide with malfunctioning cameras, sleeping guards and with information that could lead to the arrest of the Clintons.

As law enforcement officers they aren't allowed to speculate on things that they don't have evidence of. So if all the evidence that remains shows that Epstein killed himself, then that has to be the official position until new evidence comes to light. Seems pretty straightforward. All the evidence that he was murdered has been destroyed. All that remains is the crafted narrative. Can't change that by wanting to.

I'm really fucking pissed. No wonder I haven't heard about this until today. They buried the ever loving fuck out of this story and Usual Suspects are not talking about it. They're really trying to not have this become a big thing because it would DESTROY MAGA if this blew up in the news cycle. It really says something that the media would refuse to broadcast what's absolute destruction of Dan Bongino and Kash Patel's credibility just to avoid running an Epstein story. This would be probably the absolute most devastating thing could happen to Trump's current administration and the media is SILENT on it.
