Jerma985 - Because fuck it, let’s get a Jerma thread going. Meow.

Problem is he already has that rule in place iirc. But apparently trans stuff isn't political, despite them always making it a political thing.
The "no politics" rule really means no right wing or center politics. You can't disagree with people spamming that Joe Biden is based and wants to watch Bionicle movies with Jerma or make jokes about him sniffing people. Nothing ever happens to the people who suck off socialism/communism or people who use fascist as an insult either, which is all inherently political. There's a very clear bias in that chat that extends far beyond transgender issues and it's been that way for quite a while.

It's like cancer or a bad habit, if you don't nip it in the bud early...
The best solution would be to ban anyone talking about politics in chat period, but even then you're gonna alienate some people.
He can do a single stream in a shitty homemade MAGA hat and tell chat he is not wearing a hat of any kind. The trannies, perverts and gay furries would have to go sexualize someone else. They can't in good conscience jerk off to a deplorable or pretend to be married to be married to someone like him.

"A streamer for the trans" wtf does that even mean? Like he told his chat not to be transphobic ONE TIME, and they act like he is now the Jesus for trans people. Don't they have a brit that advocates mutilating children they can worship? I'm sorry, I just don't understand how it got this out of hand.
I honestly think that a lot of the appeal Jerma has amongst trans people is the fact that he's a good looking white guy that's "for them".

Like, you take a look at pretty much any clip from Jerma nowadays and it's not hard to find some people constantly going on about how attractive he is and such. It's even worse on Reddit since they openly lust for him there. The fanbase is fast approaching Tiktok thot levels of simping.

Or how are they wont shut the hell up about his ass being big.

To be fair, Jerma's fanbase and running jokes down to the ground has been a holy pair ever since his height leaked.

But yeah, Dump truck and Cat boy eras greatly overstayed their welcome. It went from "hahaha, that's kinda funny" to "oh my lord, there's actually coombrains getting off on this".

The thanksgiving video should've been were it ended since that was the peak imo

Jesus Christ, the multiversus tourney stream has a literal troon in it in VC with Jerma, and he loses his first "warmup" match against a casual. There's no way he joined the tourney without being coerced and was picked as a serious contender, he's only there to generate interest.
Such a stark departure from the Sorcery! and Sims Casino streams.

Not just Jerma, the hype around the game seems artificial in general.
I think people actually do want a smash-type game with decent netcode, and the fact that it's f2p makes it very accessible. Problem for me at least is that watching other people play fighting games is like watching paint dry unless they're playing at a super high skill level.

From what I heard he's doing some Call of Duty tournament today and tomorrow's stream is going to be a sponsored #ad stream for one of those Two Point games. I guess he really needs to recoup the costs of the baseball stream, and only time will tell if it was worth all of the sellout streams in the meantime (it probably won't be).

I jump in here after like a month or so of not watching him, he is doing sellout shit now? Yeah, he crossed the event horizon. Jeremy Elbertson the entertainer is dead. Now there is only Jerma985 the "not your average streamer #8501". Pity.
Sponsored streams here and there are fine, but just shilling this same shit game over and over is kinda beans, especially with hasan on the same ticket it just feels like shill city.
When he announced he was working with a company to facilitate sponserships I thought it was gonna be like pewdiepie Gamer Powder, which he would've had a blast shooting surreal jermaish promos for. But weekly fake hype full streams for the steven universe smash clone is falling flat, I hope this doesn't tank everything for him.

it's gonna be pretty difficult to regain interest in someone after having this sort of thing happen. Without fail, shilling will kill my interest in a content creator unless I find out about them in a current state of shilling and somehow manage to power through my contempt. Almost tempted to just unsub from the stream channel at this point. Jesus. At least try to make it funny, man!

Yea I'm in the camp of: I don't really care if a YouTuber/Streamer shills shit/takes sponsors, just make it entertaining. If you don't then it's just boring money grubbing, and no one likes that, except their bank account. Like for example, Internet Historian did a Raid: Shadow Legends sponsored stream, which sounds horrifying at first, but he made it absolutely hilarious and worth watching, I didn't care it was just a giant ad he was doing and he was getting a big check, because I was having too much fun to care. But doing a sponsored stream for some random ugly dollar store Smash Bros zoomer game with champagne socialists and trannies, that's also an absolute far cry from what made many of your fans sub to you in the first place? Like come on bruh.

I've heard while it's netcode is superior to smash, it's small roster and random set of characters, plus attacks and movement being floaty which is a big negative for fighting games in general make this kind of a chore to play.

Jerma is officially a sellout, _STAR bros we're fucking back. Year of _STAR 2022 confirmed.
What has _Star been doing lately. I know he was trying o make his own tabletop RPG system, and he was on the "retirement" stream. But other than that I have no idea what he has been doing these days.
He said Two Point Campus stream will be sponsored too.
Do you think he feels as dead inside as we all are right now? I am pretty sure there was a time pre-agency that he said if he ever did sponsor shit it would be the end of him, or something like that. Like I'm sure getting money for "big" streams with varying payoff is nice, but at what point does he start to realize that this is just hollowing?

Still working on The Myriad. There should be a new campaign around September with Moonmoon, Surefour, Strippin and 2 more unknown players. There's also a planned campaign with Jerma, but that's still a long time away.
