Don't know if he has mentioned this any other times, but yes he has, during the Undead Nightmare stream from 2017 that I happened to watch a couple Saturdays ago:
I time stamped it to 2:52:50 (and goes till 2:55:50) which is when he started talking about sponsors, but from 2:36:12-2:44:14 he talks about the costs of Jerma Rumble and what Rat Movie 3 would have been (along with alluding to future big streams), and 2:46:14-2:50:10 he talks about Kickstarter stuff and donations.

Main two quotes I got from it are @2:47:50 "But I don't want a sponsorship, it's weird, I'm a weird guy" & @2:53:35 "You could think whatever you want of me, you could think I suck, you could think I'm fucking stupid, you could think I'm a fucking moron, you could think my shit's not funny, at least you have an opinion on it. I don't want your opinion to be I'm the guy that fucking just makes videos for money, absolutely fucking not, I would rather quit making videos than be that guy. I would rather quit streaming than be that person.

EDIT: He also had much more of a spine back then, in the second stream I got these quotes from, there was some guy who kept donating $100 dollars to get him to rip off his green Mexico shirt, which he kept refusing because the shirt was a gift from a priest and he liked it, but the guy kept donating to almost a $1000 dollars. Jerma ended up just ripping two old shirts he didn't care about and never ripped the Mexico one. If this was modern Jerma he would have ripped it right away and probably pouted about it while ADHD chat spammed emotes.

EDIT 2: This is also the first time the Jermacraft copypasta was done, somewhere near the beginning when he starts streaming lol.

How the mighty fall. Five years isn't THAT long for you to change your perspective on things. This basically supports my theory he is probably only doing these recent streams through grit teeth just so he can end his streaming career on a bang. I feel even if someone were to bring this up to him nowadays, he would shrug it off through some non-answer.

Thought it was "jerma loses it to breedable boy" no, it's just Jerma sitting there while whoever this other guy is laughs because they lost to him. And I found the baseball stream guy situation funny.

I would follow ster if he actually did anything interesting. I have absolutely no dreams of a TF2 comeback but the Basically series is much better and people liked it a lot more than he gives it credit for. ttrpg shit is boring to me though.

I think it's because he's a gambler at heart. Him watching his viewer numbers go up while he's doing a silly bit gives him the same kind of high that putting $10k on black does. That's why he keeps doing these extravagant streams in the first place. He wants to keep growing until he's top dog on Twitch and then quit on a high note, or maybe even get noticed by actual big Hollywood type talent agents and move on from there. The dollhouse gave him a taste of what it's like to be #1 when he hit his all time high of 100k viewers and was probably the highest viewed stream on the site at the time. If he wants to keep getting +100k viewers on his special event streams he'll need to keep spending a lot of money on them, hence all the sponsored stuff he's doing now.

Every time I think I'm done with Jerma he does something that really makes me laugh and pulls me back in. That's part of his charm. While I do think that the golden age has ended and these days he puts out more bad streams than good ones, he still has a couple tricks left up his sleeve that keeps me coming back every once in a while.

It's greenscreen night again and his mods are showing how incompetent they can be. GrumpClump has now had 2 videos that aren't in anyway related to the greenscreen stream in them. First was a video of a bunch of dogs barking and this second one is literally a 5 minute video for What We Do in the Shadows.

Like first off, why did you add them to the playlist in the first place and second: how did you forget to take them out? Did another mod not check through the playlist?

This time multiple videos on the recent greenscreen stream had tranny colors, chat went ballistic, the whole chat was trans hearts, when mods called to stop spamming they started calling transphobia and "why is heart not ok but omegalul ok"

Is this real? Maybe it's all a falseflag or 4chan or something making everyone look bad.
Doesn't make any sense.

Baseball stream is in a few hours. Expectations? Hopes? Dreams? He said he was getting "professional" announcers to call the game so I hope they're decent to listen to at least. I hope he does some interesting things with the clowns and magicians and doesn't rely too much on inserting inside jokes into it.

I always get a little too optimistic about the production value, but I'm curious to see if it's going to be at an actual minor league baseball stadium that he rented out with access to decent cameras and studio equipment or if it's going to be at some public park where the little league games are played and uses his normal 2-3 camera setup around a few bases and maybe one at the bleachers where the dugouts are supposed to be.

tbh at this point jermas fanbase is the most insufferable and unfunny collection of troongoons alive and quite frankly his community deserves a cow thread.
