I like how it went from he wants to 1v1, to Hasan telling Jerma they need to team up. All of Jerma's issues boil down to him being too nice and accommodating .

What a joke. Collabing with random schmuck grifters like Ludwig is whatever even if they do bring the content down, but collabing with one of the most scummiest people on the site? I've honestly lost respect for Jerma at this point, he's intentionally getting close with toxic politicized faggots who will tear him apart the moment he does/says something they don't like, and it'll all blow up in his face in seconds. He went from being one of the only good, comfy streams to watch on Twitch to now being infected by the same generic top Twitch streamer types. Just sucks to see after having been watching him since 2012.

Apparently by skimming through the stream and reading comments on the VOD, not even Jermas chat liked Hasan being there. If we are lucky, this is a one time thing and Jerma learned to maybe do some background checks on who he collabs with.

I think Jerma is maybe starting to get into the wrong Twitch crowd (like with Hasan), but I respect that he's expressed he doesn't want to move to LA or go to Twitchcon because it's all just too much for him. I think he doesn't actually watch any top streamers and just collabs with them because they're popular and he's popular too.

He dug the hole himself. It's now on him to decide how deep he wants to go down the twitch rabbit hole before realizing how cut throat and toxic those people can get. Like you can only "network" with so many people before you start to see them less as colleagues, and more people that will staab you in the back for personal gain at a moments notice.

The descent was much more rapid and noticeable with Jerma given how quickly he grew, but compared to the Livestream/Chatango days Vinesauce was pretty different than it is now.
Really? That's kind of surprising considering how many people yell BASED and start spamming Hasan emotes whenever Jerma gives even slight critiques of capitalism or makes vague references to what could be considered unions. Maybe they were just a loud vocal minority and even 100 people out of 20,000 can seem like a lot when they all do it at once.
Oh well, like others said expect it to get a lot worse like with the pride flag spam after the hbomerguy raid. Before long he'll be going on socialism rants (more than he already does) to appease his audience. Unlike with the tranny stuff people can't even argue that talking about socialism/communism isn't political despite Jerma having a no politics rule. I guess that just really means politics the chat doesn't like, since that rule has never been enforced against the little comrades.

The reason I and presumably everyone else here watched Jerma was that he was the complete opposite from the other streamers. But now that every other stream features some unfunny top twitch retard and chat is infested with zoomers and troons, what's the point?

That last comment in particular is a massive "cap" as zoomers say, moment. You know damn well that dude would be going ape shit if as you said, he collabed with JonTron instead of a leftie like Hasan. Honestly the whole JT debacle and him appearing on IH's channel is proof these people do care if it's someone they've deemed to be an enemy to their worldview. Also funny how they now call the chat toxic but don't care when it's pride flag spam or chat being rude/toxic towards Jerma when he's playing a game they don't like (Viewtiful Joe, Kenshi) or not playing it the way they want him to (Mount and Blade: Warband)

I still check out Jerma whenever I can, but I simply cannot really get more than 10 minutes into a lot of his newer stuff lately. Yet I constantly go back and watch his old videos beginning to end and still find myself laughing way too hard at them.

This mentality is possibly my least favorite thing about a lot of newer Jerma fans, they treat him like everyone's trying to earn brownie points with him when he's more or less just. A guy for most people. I feel like this has popped up a lot since he started collabing with Ludwig. Personally I'm a Lud fan, but from what I can tell he's been following Jerma for years (I think there might be a clip of him saying as much) and I think that leads to a decent amount of fanboying and idolizing on Ludwig's behalf. Which some people seem to project onto ANY streamer that Jerma collabs with.
I don't know exactly how to put my finger on it so my wording is probably wrong here, but a lot of young/new Jerma viewers seem to view him as some authority among streamers or whatever due to his seniority, whereas Jeremy still thinks of himself as "just some guy" most of the time, especially when it comes to regular gameplay streams. I don't think I've ever watched more than 5 minutes of Hasan doing anything and I'm sure as fuck not going to add to that time now by watching the VOD, but I'm going to guess that comment is just echoing that general sentiment I've seen anyway.
On a more positive note, I'm glad that 2ndJerma is posting some older videos. Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games and I completely forgot that Jerma streamed it. Personally I can still watch a lot of newer Jerma content if I ignore chat, but this is way comfier.
