offbrand, an event production company (co-)founded by large streamer/commentator Ludwig, has announced its shutting down operations and trying to find new work for their staff.

offbrand was comprised of ex-Beyond the Summit staff, an event production focusing on e-sports events, Luwig plus associates and Jerma as a creative director.
Here is a video form Ludwig announcing the company and its plans.
If you've watched any major livestreamed event(s) by YouTubers or Twitch streamers in the past year there is a decent chance that offhand had a hand in creating that event. Think streamer awards, the CDawgVA charity auction and more. Event management is a tough business requiring great upfront capital for risky investments, much of the events where funded out of pocket by Ludwig who could leverage extra cash from his lucrative YouTube streaming deal. This deal has since come to pass probably making cash on hand an ever-growing issue.
I should note that offhand productions has not been under Ludwig's management for some time as
he sold the company to its employees earlier this year. The big idea here was that offbrand could stand on its own and disconnected from Ludwig the celebrity, as Ludwig has stated multiple times that
he intends to retire in a near future.
Offbrand was one of a few different entrepreneurial endeavors by Ludwig. While I have no doubts that some here will not feel much sympathy purely because you disagree with the kind of person he presents himself to be online, I myself will applaud his efforts in trying to expand past the boundaries of "just being a YouTuber". Plus, people losing their jobs is never a fun time.
Final note, while offbrand productions is now closing shop the games publishing company offbrand games will remain operational, currently helmed by
