Why even use a mac? They're expensive and you can't upgrade them. It'd be cheaper to build a custom computer.

Well for starters, here is a picture of my desk. It's very hard to work there. Having a wireless keyboard will allow me work from my entertainment center and since Mac mini has HDMI output I can use my TV and work from my chair where I have more room.
Goddamn I thought my desk was cluttered.

As long as it has USB ports then I can purchase a external USB Harddrive plus I got one 1TB Toshiba HDD already.

I saw the article on IGN, plus since I started my campaign Apple drops the price to $599 to $499 as long as I know I'll have money for a kickstarter then we'll continue to enjoy doing things for you guys for years to come. Plus just got a PM about cheeper wireless keyboard from RadioShack.

Hey there, Joe, have you ever considered to clear out your desk perhaps once in a while?

No, I've seen that show. They got people there who are more messed up then I am right now. It's messy because I was working on the 10 year TUC cut
Just asking, which option would you prefer?:

1. Clearing out your desk without needing a wireless keyboard

2. Spending $70 on a wireless keyboard with a messy desk which could get messier

As flexible as I am I can do both, the PC is still good the only problem is the FireWire card doesn't work and the longer it's connected to the Internet, the more vulnerable it will be and everything is on it.

Also, I'm not going to get the apple wireless keyboard. I'm gonna get this instead. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=29560756

Joe, you'll have to excuse my staff. They start more arguments than flies in a garbage dump.

It would seem you're spending almost all of the next year repurposing existing material and not creating new movies. Do you believe that your audience is more interested in a re-release of Ziggy than your next blockbuster film?

I know the people who know me know that what they really want is Unknown Creature 2, but right now what I have to offer in new content is limited, the story outline you sent me I want to talk about that a little more. If I had as many DVD sales as TLOC has views on youtube then I could offer more right now.

You're buying a whole new computer because a firewire card doesn't work anymore? Why don't you replace it?

That would just be like putting band-aid on a more serious problem. I bought about 4 or 5 USB HDDs, none of them worked on it. I know a new Mac mini will work with just about any external storage I can that "says" it's compatible on the box. My dad uses a Mac mini, my brother uses one we have two of them in our house already and they both run like new and they had those twice as long my current PC and neither one has had a single virus or malware issue. I know what I'm buying, I'm no stranger to Mac.

The new Mac Minis are completely locked. Apple actually took the jagoff step of soldering the RAM to the logic board, even. It's one of the biggest fuck-yous to the customers yet from the company that has issued its share of fuck-yous to their customers over the years.

The $499 model also has the specs of a new machine circa 2005. Actually I have an old iMac from 2007 which was low end then and has twice as much RAM and a processor nearly twice as fast. And you want to edit video on this.

I think you're fine with what you have but you want something new and shiny, which won't be sufficient for your purposes and will give you another reason to avoid working. Your shareholders and stakeholders and fans would be severely disappoint, Joe.
