I remember this from forever ago, crazy to see they actually did put out a chapter after so long. Its pretty decent too.Nothing big, but some guy & his team made his Shizuka Joestar doujin after 5 years.
I actually *really* liked Golden Wind, I just didn't like Giorno so much. On the other side of the coin, Joseph (particularly *young* Joseph) is as of right now my favorite Jojo so far, even though Battle Tendency was definitely *not* my favorite season.Part one and two were pretty meh for me. Three and four were friggin great and pretty damn good respectively. Part five was shit. I'm not going to watch Stone Ocean until it is finished, but I hope Jolyne will knock it out of the park for me.
The entire series is kind of gay, but Golden Wind is just Homosexuality the Anime.I actually *really* liked Golden Wind, I just didn't like Giorno so much. And it still makes me sad to see him basically senile in Diamond is Unbreakable.
(Also, I'm reading SBR right now. I'm not very far into it yet, but Johnny doesn't seem to really be the main character of the story yet. There is plenty of time for that to change though, and I don't need any spoilers.)
I’m happy how this actually feels like a proper prequel and it reminds me why Josuke (4) is one of my favorite Jojo’s.The monthly JoJo kino is back.
OFC the entirety of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure could have just as easily be called "Homosexuality the Anime," But that didn't start with 'Golden Wind'. Hell, it started from the very beginning with 'Phantom Blood' when Jonathan and Dio couldn't decide whether they wanted to fuck eachother or kill eachother (and somehow managed to find a happy medium where both sort of happened.)The entire series is kind of gay, but Golden Wind is just Homosexuality the Anime.
At least you could attempt to justify the previous parts. Golden wind went full Twink.OFC the entirety of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure could have just as easily be called "Homosexuality the Anime," But that didn't start with 'Golden Wind'. I'm a relatively recent Jojo fan, but I can acknowledge how gay it is. (I don't think most Jojo fans really hide that fact, it's pretty fucking obvious.)At least you could attempt to justify the previous parts. Golden wind went full Twink.
Edit. I like how we are fighting over just how gay Jojo is as fans.

I kind of see where you're coming from when you say Golden Wind is the gayest. (Bruno's haircut alone is pretty gay, and the less we say about the outfits that literally everybody wears, the better...)
But I guess being gay AF fuck in of itself doesn't bother me that much if they're telling a good story. And I actually really did enjoy Golden Wind's story...
I already agreed with you there.Gay.
Yeah, we all know that honor goes to Narancia.not even the best side character of the season at that.
Okay, I’m actually gonna go against the grain here and argue that very little is actually gay. Certainly a lot of it can be construed as homoerotic subtext, but the only explicitly gay things (that I can remember off the top of my head) are:OFC the entirety of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure could have just as easily be called "Homosexuality the Anime," But that didn't start with 'Golden Wind'. Its mostly modern woke weirdo's who have thoroughly infested anime circles and want to make everything gay for gay reasons who unironically call Jojo some kind of gay propaganda. There are sexual elements in Jojo, but those elements are almost solely contained to jokes making fun of gays and straight relationships. Most of JoJo's "gayness" just comes from stereotypes or how faggots try to claim certain body types or clothing choices as gay. I've seen a ton of people claim JoJo is guy because it has a lot of muscular dudes. But then if they're too slender that also makes them gay. So I guess only average builds aren't gay? And I find it funny how the only actual gay people in the manga are brutally murdered (those two assassins) or are rapists like Scarlet Valentine.
JoJo has like 5 gay characters and 80% of them live (and brutally die) in Part V.Okay, I’m actually gonna go against the grain here and argue that very little is actually gay. Certainly a lot of it can be construed as homoerotic subtext, but the only explicitly gay things (that I can remember off the top of my head) are:
1. “That scene” between Joseph and Avdol, where the joke is that what they’re doing is being misinterpreted as homoerotic by the bystanders
2. “That scene” between Giorno and Mista, where the joke also is that what they’re doing is being misinterpreted as a homosexual act by Narancia
3. The Clash and Talking Heads stand users, who are more explicitly implied to be gay
4. IIRC the two assassins that Diavolo killed prior were also stated or heavily implied to be gay lovers
Like, it’s funny to joke about how gay the pillar men are, and to talk about the hilarious implications of Kars picking only 3 younger dudes to save after massacring his entire species, but if we’re going purely off textual evidence I would be arguing that the reason the pillar men are giant and buff and mostly naked is that they’re supposed to represent something “above human” with perfect bodies, literally “statuesque” like the idealized human forms depicted in Greek and Roman statues.
Honestly I’d argue that up until SBR (which IIRC is also when it officially moved to a seinen magazine, feel free to fact check me on this) Jojo is fairly asexual.
