Imagine waiting a year for another 13 episodes.
Netflix really handled Jojo in the worst way possible.

Like this would've been fine if it was weekly episodes like Japan and just needing to wait until Fall for new episodes. Other anime have spaced out some cours like this, but Netflix fucks it up with their batch release.

for a company that says they dont want people to binge watch content, they sure do a great job at not actually doing anything about that to fix it

Yeah and there are other anime in Netflix air weekly.

Like Jojo's production is fucked due to some corporate restructuring of Davidpro, but Netflix only makes it worse.

Any chance that there will still be shit that the animators will have to edit post-batch release? And what moments do you think are going to get cut or censored this time around?

Well the issue is that this late release is due to DavidPro going under a restructuring that spread the animators thin, so it probably would be more up to snuff compared to batch 1.

Honestly this release would be fine if Batch 1 was weekly so there'd be less months in waiting, and other anime have done this sort of split before. The batch release just makes it feel like a longer wait with all episodes dropped at once.

As for the cuts/censors, well it's definitely going to be any jokes since all Jojo anime adaptations tend to cut out some of the jokes from the manga.

Netflix fucked over JoJo fans, why are they making us wait till this fall? 9-10 months between batches is insanity. What the hell is going on at David Productions/Netflix? This sucks!

David Production itself is dealing with major changes in-studio and their team is being spread too thinly which is why it will take awhile with Jojo.

Netflix is honestly the worst offender since they won the bidding war for the streaming rights and were the ones who wanted the batch release.

Like Jojo's schedule would be more tolerated if it were the weekly schedule but had a major break between March and Fall rather than the near year long break that came from short-sightedness from Netflix's batch release.

This mostly fucks over the western Jojo fans since Japan gets an option to watch weekly.

So in Japan they will continue to see Episodes 13 and so on every week? IIRC there was a a few month gap between halves of part 4 but this wait is easily twice as long. Damn Netflix.

Well it's more that the episodes will air weekly on TV after the Netflix release since in December when the first batch aired, the anime aired on TV a month later on a weekly schedule. As for the months long gap here, I feel this is more on the David Production side needing time, Netflix just made it worse.

Like it's not the worst scheduling for anime since I can name some anime that have worse schedules especially since they affect the quality.

Countries/kingdoms are able to last longer then expected due to a country having a saints corpse. according to gyro
in jojo(and our timeline) japan has never had to go through invasions or any scenario for japan to collapse

A weird gayme theory:
In the sbr timeline maybe japan is economically and culturally thriving because of johnny joestar's corpse getting saint like properties.
so johnny in theory would be a saint

Some of you may hate me for bringing this up but it serves as an excuse to bring up your more autistic ideas.
In case you don't want to see it: The theory is that the reason Hol Horse and Jousuke tag along for Demonic Heartbreak is that Hol Horse is the long-forgotten son of Joseph and the real father of Jousuke. The Hol part of his name is in reference to Holly and the Horse part is because Joseph brings him during a business trip, gets kidnapped, and adopted by ranchers that teach him horse riding. The mullet is supposed to hide the birthmark and what leads Hol Horse to want to shoot DIO is realizing he has it too. Hol Horse has mastered the Joestar technique. At some point, Hol Horse is supposed to get to Japan around the same time Joseph visits so he banks on his appearance to get a place to crash, money, and bangs Tomoko.

Ngl, I kind of like how autistic the concept is. Prolly because of Rice Pirate's Blood Sun Vendetta.

So I ask you this, do you have any candidates for a secret member of an established lineage in JoJo? No Mamezuku, too easy.
