This is one of the rarer moments where I have to agree with the LGBT community. Joylne and Hermes should've been a couple. I heard Araki wanted this shipping but his editor shot him down or something.

Ah nice! I looked up this thread the other day but I couldn't find it!
I'm currently watching Stardust Crusaders. I read the manga years ago, I had forgotten how much fun it was.
I think the whole Jojo series peaked with DiU. The stories from Vento Aureo and on aren't that good imo. Yes, even Stone Ocean, and I did like it.

What do you mean oficial anime girl Anasui?
He shows up disguised as a girl in the manga for a chapter, I don't see why they wouldn't do it in the anime.

I think it would be cool if they make an extended scene that show Diver Down changing Anasui's gender because that would be pretty cool to see more of what Diver Down can do.
Personally I find the localization name for Anasui ridiculous. Seriously why Anastasia.

I don't think I want to read part 7. It looks unappealing to me. But a friend of mine did read it and said it was good.

I hope they make it a bit more explicit that he’s in fact in disguise, and that it’s not just an abandoned character design (considering there’s a good stretch of chapters between his initial appearance and when he actually joins the cast). With the existing translation it’s not immediately obvious, which is where a lot of the confusion comes from.

I think it’s possible or they’ll just show him as a guy from the start.
Since one thing about the Jojo anime that it really cool is that DW likes to add original scenes that add more or foreshadow stuff (i.e. like the arrow being shown in Part 3, the Kira foreshadowing and Epilogue in Part 4, and the Anime-Only La Squadra scenes in Part 5)

It seems a bit banal at first but quickly mixes things up. The race aspect really lends itself to some creative storytelling.

Oh, no. Sorry, I meant part 8! I did read part 7 but never finished it. I lost interest quickly. It's a good story tho, quite entertaining. I don't think I want to read part 8.

Excited for Part 9 and wondering if its really going to be a sequel to Part 8 with new universe Joseph Joestar. The Boogiepop guy did a good job with Fugo's story, so I'm also looking forward to that. With Jojolion ending tomorrow and the Stone Ocean anime coming in december, it's a good time to be a jojo fan
I guess I became somewhat of a Jojolion apologist after reading it again from the start. Even tho I'd still rank it near the bottom, It's a pretty good story with great atypical battles. Flashback man not being explained doesn't ruin the experience for me, but let's wait and see what Chapter 110 has to show.

Final chapter is out and it's underwhealming.
If you didnt' like Jojolion till now then you'll remain not liking it.

> Wall Eyes are still a mystery, same with the bite marks.
> Guard Rail was simply a rock animal that attacked people.
> Josefumi is confirmed to be Joseph Joestar (Cracker Volleys get a cameo). His stand has the same vine powers of Hermit Purple with the addition of having a humanoid form.
> During the end of the flashback, Lucy sees Tooru collecting some Rokakaka but doesn't get to do anything about it because she's having a medical emergence and has to be taken ASAP to a hospital by Joseph.
> There's possibly a setup of Part 9 by saying that Joseph travelled back to America with Luzy and stayed there until the end of WWII. He meets and marries Suzy Q there and they have a daughter, Holly. Manga says Lucy dies 3 years after the Radio Ga Ga incident, lung cancer.
> A bunch of deaths get confirmed. Rai is dead, Nijimura is dead, Jobin is dead. Norisuke is alive and coming out of the hospital soon. Holly is still in a coma (or maybe dead, her image shows up alongside Rai and Nijimura).
> Gappy finds out that Josefumi's (the one that fused with Kira) mom has a new kid and that she didn't abandon him like he thought, she kept looking even after the earthquake, but this doesn't amount to anything.

Still like the Part, but I wish the final chapter covered a larger span of time. Really needed that "How everyone is doing 2 years later" montage. Chap 110 probably won't do any good to Jojolion's reputation of being the worst part, since it's the one with the most amount of actual Araki Forgots I can think of.

People either think the endings the worst shit ever made or that it's super deep and the best jojo ending ever and the peak of fiction when it was just meh. Deaths like Jobin and especially Nijimuras felt brushed over and Hollys fate sucked.

So the flash forward we saw in an earlier chapter was bullshit? Cause that one guy didn't have a baby arm in it but in the final chapter he has a baby arm.
