Ehh, well he should be at least happy on that hill.specially the fanart comic.. Yeah I undestand than any fanart(especially good one) will attract far more fav than any original art, people just like what they know. The way he have wrote it, he sound jealous that some guy attracted more love with his fanart than what bog did(even if bawg have talent his hyperfocus on gross thing will always have a very niche target audience)

he was arguing with a child that it's ok to draw porn of characters from children's media so long as the characters were adults. Went about as expected.
he deleted most of the posts about it, cause apparently that's a super controversial stance to take on a neo-puritain place like tumblr, even if you're not addressing actual children on the subject. (which, you know, he did.)
Jonny Bog, if you're reading this, I hope you enjoy the life you've managed to build for yourself, where you can't even publicly express opinions to your audience like "sexualizing adult characters is ok" or "rural white children in red states are still human beings" without pushback.
Where your friend circle consists entirely of either adult children like you, or an ever rotating group of teenagers that keep outgrowing you and being replaced with new ones.
Where you need to reconcile the fact you're a straight male married to a transmasc they/them who takes male hormones and pretend you're ok with it.
Were it anyone else I'd feel bad for them, but frankly you deserve all of this and more. You vitriolic high-horse gremlin.

At this point it is hard to tell if they act this ridiculous as a means of scoring points with the Tumblr/Twitter crowd or if they are actually serious. Half of the stuff I read coming from this weird dom/sub partnership seems like a bad parody of sjw culture.
Since you have more insights on these guys than many of us do, do you think Jonathan is going to go troon as well? I mean, he has already been psychologically neutered by Rev, so it would be the next logical step for him.

Yeah, it was an unknown name who started arguing in the comments, and only then said they were a minor so my mental reaction was "OKAY never mind this shit." Besides not wanting to debate a kid about dirty fan art, I can't say I actually blame them if they're pissed about bumping into porn of their favorite shows drawn by people their mom's age, even if I also can't put that on those artists.
Anyway, full disclosure, I've seen little else in this thread lately but this single sentence and the last two or three posts, so I don't know what surrounds any of this but it's such an honest concern worded so politely I feel like it's owed a fair response. If this description were correct I would be just as pissed off and give up social media, but I hope you'll only be glad (if you're willing to believe me) that no, neither of these opinions were divisive in the slightest.
There were only two arguing about the sexualization stuff, and only four about the rural poverty thing. In both cases the subjects were only brought up by a one-off twitter thread I saw, so as far as I know they weren't big controversies to begin with. Overall the people who follow me have only been nice about everything or willing to disagree respectfully, but sites like tumblr and twitter are designed to make every post spread beyond any personal circle you can possibly maintain so there's always going to be that "pushback" from somebody no matter what you say about anything. Still, people overall are more level headed than anyone thinks they are, pretty much everywhere.
Wwwwwhhoooooaaaaaa holy shit that's getting personal. You've been sending me your artwork again lately and I'm not sure you realize how weird your boundaries are. It's intentional that you don't know anything about my private relationships because that would be weird. It's weird when people constantly broadcast that stuff. I've only had one bad situation in the past, and even that person has come around to being apologetic and easygoing. Rev and I just already learned enough by the time we met that we just have a happy time together no matter what, looking for cool bugs and drawing monsters and all that stuff you probably expect me to like doing in real life.
I think you need more productive fixations than headcanoning the human life of a webcartoonist. You also need to pick whether you want to be on casual terms with someone or want to be barfing rude shit about their family and friends on kiwifarms, I doubt even the crustiest assholes here would call that stable.

I would be embarrassed too if I was talking about kid show p0rn.
"I don't mind that people might draw marge simpson naked" wasn't an important enough subject to me to either keep arguing about or invite any more hypothetical arguments about, especially when people agreeing with me were getting more heated than I expected.
