If a person online was talking about how much they want to shoot up a school and how the idea of harming children is enjoyable to them, that would be considered a red flag that said person might shoot up a school. Law enforcement should be made aware of that person's online behaviour to intervene and prevent a tragedy. That doesn't mean jail but said person clearly needs psychological help. Why should it be any different when someone is looking at/producing sexual drawings of babies?

I mentioned this briefly in the OP but I'll go into more context here. To be clear, this is not the same exact situation as Jordan's. We have no clue who these people actually are or if this arrest is real.

I understand the general desire to act on the existence of these people but the main issue is that normally a specific threat is required to detain someone. I don't support red flags for firearms because they are easily abused and overly broad. I imagine trying to write a red flag law for pedo's would have the same issue. In the end it would come out overly broad.

The problem with laws is we currently have a bunch of geriatric fuckers writing them. I don't trust the government to narrowly tailor its own power

On Pixiv when you check someones followers it shows not only who they are, but also their 4 most recent pieces of art work. That image was the artist most recent piece of art. I didn't go scouring through all his follows' art to find that. I clicked on the most recent picture of that artist, and it was based off of an actual kid.

So, I didn't post this before because I believed the Vtuber was actually a woman and didn't know her local reigon, but apparently someone who was a former police contractor mentioned you could download Bail papers as a template, So it got me looking.

And I came across this during my search

The timeline is slightly off from Jordan's Arrest so it might not even be connected, but it's certainly weird how two people got arrested in the same week and this happened
