Joss Whedon accused of being Joss Whedon - Cyborg actor accuses him of “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior on the set of JUSTice League and accuses a couple of higher-ups of covering for him

A male feminist is a degenerate?
color me shocked.
Don't forget PJW's quote: "Imagine my shock".
Yeah, we're all struggling to make sense of it.

Variety said:
The allegations against Whedon are especially troubling given his public persona as an outspoken feminist. “He created this girl-power character with Buffy Summers that women rallied around,” says a person who worked on “Buffy.” “Finally, we got to see a woman kicking ass. It was a great role model for women and girls. That was the space that he was proud to occupy and really pioneered. The idea that he had this darker side is creepy and upsetting — and hard to square with, given his work.”

I find it amusing that even with all these accusations against Whedon I still don't believe the racism allegations. Sign of the times.

Nerds and autists were too busy consooming to care until the #MeToo era gained steam.
The most fucked thing he ever did was firing Cordelia for getting pregnant. He could have wrote her pregnancy into the show in a better way than what we got. That hated Season 4.

Here is a mad plot I made up off the top of my head. Angel becomes human for 48 hours. He and Cordy hook up. Boom, Cordy becomes pregnant.
Now Connor can redeem himself by protecting Cordy and baby. You can have evil Angel and that whole plotline. Baby blood brings about apocalypse. So everyone wants to get baby. In the end Eve comes along and fixes everything like in show. Except this time she is not Connor's child. She can be his love interest. Same plotline as before.

There's a big article about Joss Whedon on a site called Vulture. It's partially based on an interview he gave one of the site's journalists, where he tried to give his side of the story about the numerous accusations made against him. Let's just say it didn't go well for him.

Many people will focus on the whole Ray Fisher drama and accusations of racism, though I think that's the most defensible part of the interview. Bonus points for calling the guy "a bad actor in both senses". But it's all downhill from here.

He said he didn't threaten Gal Gadot's career and she misunderstood because "english isn't her first language". And he also has this completely healthy and normal statement about the multiple affairs he had on the set of Buffy:

I think you can find a few /pol users more misogynistic than Whedon, but you're going to have look really hard. Long story short, the guy is a weirdo, a complete douchebag and the article did his public image no favors.

These ghouls known as male feminists lack basic empathy and humanity. So they have to project their failings onto others because they have no frame of reference other than themselves. They cannot fathom other people who don't think and look like them. So those they can't fathom, including women, become objects that they can use for their own aggrandization. Whether that be through politics or sex. Whedon didn't once think about anything other than his own dick. Whilst shaming anyone he didn't like as sexist.

I read the interview. He was much more scummy than I first thought. I'm glad I never was a fan of him, it's very ridiculous how he used to have legions of fans

In all fairness this is why right wingers hated him because he call himself a feminist and acted like he was better than conservatives. When everyone knew he was a scumbag wh didn't hide it. I'm happy this interview shows him being even more of a scumbag.

I've always hated this asshole and anyone who didn't immediately see through his performative male feminism is a retard. That said, is he accused of doing anything genuinely fucked up or is there another periodic "Me Too" sacrifice? I don't care if it's the latter; if anyone deserves to be thrown to the wolves for being thirsty it's him.

He comes across as that ginger kid who was bullied and never got over it.

He apparently tried to fuck a teenage Michelle Trachtenberg enough to where he had to be separated from her and never alone with her. He also apparently tried to bully a Christian actress into aborting a baby so she wouldn't interrupt his tv shooting.

Even if you don't think making writers cry is a big deal, those two alone are probably the biggest non-Weinstein examples of textbook #MeToo worthy things I've ever heard of.

Making adult writers cry literally is *no big deal", their ideas probably sucked and were gay - but trying to get in on that Hollywood pedo casting couch is enough to make up for that.

Isn't abortion like a last resort if the one giving birth in question wants to preserve their life? Seriously, this is as bad as the Acti-Blizz baby milk mini-shitshow.

A hack and a male-feminist ghoul. What are the fucking odds?

He never like Charisma at all. In fact he had to hire her due to studio pressure. So he made sure to make her life a misery.

Regarding the abortion thing, his first thought was immediately how will this affect the storyline ? Explains the character assassination of Cordelia that season. Tuned out of the show after that.

Oh yeah I forgot Charisma Carpenter is a devout Christian. That just makes him even more of a scumbag. Knowing that one of your main actors is a devout Christian and telling her to abort her baby. He really is a Hollywood Atheist scumbag.

Question has Adam Baldwin comment on the Joss Whedon stuff? Knowing how he's a open conservative and worked with whedon

“Welcome to the Internet Hate Club, Joss. You’ll get used to it eventually.”

But seriously, Whedon has to regret doing this interview. Just a complete litany of people talking about how unpleasant it is to work with Whedon and Whedon saying his problem was he was too nice. Fucking classic.
