I feel that Kat is likely going to be pushed to make efforts to lose weight in the future by her medical advisors. It's not uncommon for a woman with uterine/ovarian or hormone difficulties to stack on weight as they enter their mid-thirties, and fluctuations aren't unheard of, but a rapid and extreme weight gain in her case leads me to believe that it was a combination of factors, including psychological.

Morbid obesity doesn't just exacerbate and accelerate the pre-existing issues that may have resulted in it, but often leads to new problems. Men and women can both face additional complications as a result of struggling with being overweight, but studies show that the consequences for women can be more severe and multi-layered than men.

Not to armchair and speculate in any way here, but I hope she's being counseled and monitored effectively on getting back to a normal weight, not just for aesthetics and presentation, but for her overall quality of life. It leads me to believe that whatever meds she might be on are not the best fit; she could probably benefit from some kind of stimulant. I don't think she's happy. I get the vibe that she craved stability and Phil was the one offering it, but she's clearly struggling with motivation.

"You should lose weight"
"Ok"

Doctors don't give a fuck, it's up to you if you want to make the quality of your life better or not.

Absolutely. What I'm saying is that I hope her doctor is making her aware that her weight could be creating the issues she's reporting, and at the very least, encouraging her to consider the possibility that her weight could be contributing to, if not outright creating, her health concerns.
Many times folks will dismiss their doctor's advice as "being mean" or unhelpful when it comes to suggesting a change in lifestyle when it's the first suggestion. They will suggest the patient to take control of their weight and see if the complaint or illness resolves, but it's not the answer everyone wants to hear.

Anecdotal, but many of the people I either know or interact with who complain of chronic illnesses and piss and moan on social media about their multiple health problems are usually obese. They will also complain their doctor "isn't listening" or that they're being discriminated against because the medical professional's go-to solution or answer to their troubles is usually "lose weight".

I got blocked by a relative (30-something year old woman who gained 150 in four years) on Facebook, because she complained that she needed to lose weight before she could be considered for a knee replacement surgery and decided that the doctor was overstepping, discriminating and brushing her off. I explained that you need to firstly be under a certain weight limit to qualify for certain surgeries, but was met with a flurry of excuses and was called ableist, etc.

Body positivity has turned people into victims and they'd rather suffer than find a solution. They develop munchausen-like traits and find power in weaponizing their incompetence. I hope Kat is not one of these people.

Her doctor most likely just checks to see if she has enough teeth to chew oats and that her hooves are not impacted.

I don't even know if it's body positivity, that's a select crowd online who have the confidence to parade themselves around in public plus to some extent it's a marketing thing by clothing companies.

But yeah my own experience with overweight people is that they really just have avoidant behavior about it. Unfortunately the larger you become the harder it is to lose weight and there's all sorts of snake oil out there too with bullshit diet plans and stuff like that. Most of the people I've encountered seem to put it off till tomorrow and then the next day and the next day.

Or they'll join the gym and go once or twice and then sit back down and watch TV for another 4 years.

Oh I tried calorie counting but it's so hard so I only did it for 2 days.

They give up on everything or don't try in the first place and never follow through with shit over months and months to see a meaningful change happen - it's always "yawn, I'm gonna see what's on TV" or "honey did you charge my iPad?"

Or it’s off to the glue factory! IMG_1091.jpeg

Yeah I definitely don't remember him being a weirdo puritan before Kat rolled up.
He wasn't. In fact in his old videos he constantly made sex jokes and would ogle his big breasted figurines in his tour videos. He still did that when he was with Leanna too.

Then he started dating Kat and overnight he was now totally sickened by the very sight of a woman not fully clothed.

It's obvious the change was because of Fat Kat but my question is it because of his marriage or Kat being super jealous or both? Like does Phil have this weird idea in his autistic brain where once you are married you can't find any other woman attractive again or it's considered cheating? Or is he terrified of Kat thinking he's cheating on him because he's making sex jokes? What is the logic?

'is it because of his marriage or Kat being super jealous' -Yes.

'does Phil have this weird idea in his autistic brain where once you are married you can't find any other woman attractive again or it's considered cheating?' -Yes.

He basically said(or alluded to) that Keemstar couldn't be a good husband and father because he deals in drama. Keem doesn't fit the 80s/90s sitcom dad archetype and therefore couldn't possibly be good to his family, because he makes 'blood money' off of other people's misfortune.

His whole understanding of what being a 'mature adult' or a 'family man' comes from the shit he consumed as a kid in 90s.

Also he's a retard.

Yeah we're talking specifically about the period between Leanna leaving and Kat coming in.

DSP has no clue about marriage, he doesn't give a shit about the institution. He's never demonstrated anything like this in his whole life online. Treated engagement to Leanna like a burden. I've always got the sense that much of DSP's more recent pivot towards Traditional Married Man™ is more him absorbing Kat's standards.

We know she seethes with jealousy from the time a chatter brought up his ex while she was on stream and she immediately crossed her arms, clenched her jaw and looked away rolling her eyes. I think she's probably very insecure, which makes sense because she herself is a cheater, and cheaters are so rotted inside out that they assume everybody else is as fucked up as they are, turning them into jealous people.

Phil claims that he's intelligent and open-minded because he sees the world in shades of gray. If you've ever listened to him, it's quite the opposite. He latches onto a thought and no matter how many times it's proven wrong, he keeps spouting it because that's what a narcissist does. For whatever reason, whether it's Kat's jealousy or something that got stuck in his gin-brain about "maturity", he thinks it's immoral for a married man to look at a woman who isn't his wife. He also thinks that it's gay for guys to hang out at a bar and have a beer, but what can I tell you? He's just a fucked-up, sheltered dude.

Part of that can easily be attributed to being socially isolated for a decade and not just narcissism. If this was 20 years ago DSP wouldn't survive with his current hermit existence and would have to leave the house to go and get shit and meet people (unless he was stupidly rich and chose that lifestyle, but that wasn't the case for DSP)
