One of the better parts of yesterdays stream that I stumbled upon was Keffals going onto the Reddit and finding one of their own mods (Camelspyd3r) had deleted Keffals post which leaked the Jessie Gender private messages and then Keffals angrily having to restore it on stream.

The quality is poor and wyatt has zero credibility, so Nyanners fans won't fall for it. In Keffals' case such a deepfake would be way more believable. Still a bad idea because 1) lying is corrosive to the soul, 2) it would inevitably get discovered and poison the well against criticism of Keffals, and 3) a world where deepfakes get people canceled, even people I don't like, is a world I don't want to live in.

Having said that, I half-expect Lucas to deepfake himself saying "nigger" and post it anonymously to 4chan. First, he's a /pol/-brained incel and would probably get a kick out of it. Second, it's an easy win for him: gin up outrage on Twitter over the fake scandal, then prove the clips are fakes to redeem himself. "The trolls tried their best, but we outwitted them again!" Can also dismiss future, possibly true allegations as just more deepfakes. Easy, PR 101.

Hope that wasn't too much of a tangent. Read wyatt's thread just before I saw your post, so gamer word deepfakes were already on my mind.

They're not deepfakes. The racist, lolicon, etc. vocaroos & youtube videos are over a decade old at this point. They predate public access to that shit by years and were posted publicly by her on 4chan and youtube; I was even in some of those threads when she was posting them. The only thing edited is her vtuber avatar being synced up to one of the vocaroo audios, which was originally done for comedic effect, not to expose her. Unfortunately like you said she isn't being held accountable for it because the old 4chan archives went down (and publicly available back-ups are lacking for this time period), old vocaroo and youtube links went down, and nobody really cares enough about some bottom of the barrel trashy vtuber that has since moved her persona away from that all that.

Contrast that to Lucas who's deeply involved in political retardation and internet fights. Who expresses hypocrisy on a daily basis in front of vultures that have an incentive to fuck with him for clout. Someone who, to this day, still clearly has issues with women and black people. It wouldn't need to be real like Nyanners' chantardery a decade ago, it wouldn't even need to be particularly convincing, even an obvious fake would be enough to get him dogpiled if the right people claimed it was real.
