King of the Hill’ voice actor Jonathan Joss killed in Texas shooting after argument with neighbor​

Actor Jonathan Joss — best known for his voice work on the iconic animated TV comedy “King of Hill” was shot dead by a neighbor in Texas, according to a report.

Joss, who voiced “John Redcorn” on the long-running cartoon, got into a argument with the neighbor at his home in San Antonio Sunday night when the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot him several times, according to police.

The unnamed gunman then fled the scene in a vehicle but was arrested by police just a block from the residence.

He may have been floundering for longer than people realize, in hindsight. A person I know said that Joss was a guest at some convention in Texas every single year it was run and they treated him with some kind of weird reverence or something. He had (or appeared to have) more leeway than other guests to promote himself.

He was selling "King of the Grill" BBQ seasoning as well as tortilla chips seasoned with the spice mix too. He was also giving out small bags of the chips to everyone, even people who did not ask for them. This was way back in the early to mid 2010's I believe? It's a weird hustle to have, but then again he was known for literally only one role.

This is a very horrible murder especially if everything in the statement is true. I hope the killer receives the death penalty for this act and also expect if this case really blows up for leftists to gain a large degree of cultural momentum.

That said i'm not sure I believe the husbands statement. Something isn't really adding up there. They went to the old house to pick up mail and the neighbor just happened to have their dogs skull and harness ready and sitting in plain view for them to see when they got there? and happened to be waiting nearby with a gun for them to get upset about it? How did he know when they'd be showing up or if they would be? and he did all this just to shoot them? If so why didn't he shoot both of them? Theres some part of that story that isn't being told or something else was going on. Doesn't make sense to shoot a neighbor who doesn't even live there anymore who is only there for a few minutes to get some mail
