Final thoughts, I think Clint is a good guy but a big doofus. The whole, "I found the guy fucking with me but he must be saaaad so I won't post his phone number and address" is dumb. These people aren't sad they're just fucking morons and need to be slapped right in the mouth for their impudence, reddit fags aren't really people anyway.

The interview was so incredibly weak, the guy got railroaded completly by Clint for 1 hour and for some retarded reason only chose to go with the most repetitive, boring, 2nd grader tier "what do you wanna be when you grow up" questions he could muster, I wasn't expecting an actual confrontation of things Josh had done as he prob. wouldn'thave done the interview, but jesus was this still fucking weak.

The only things that salvaged it where actual diagnosis confirmations, the duster scene and some stories of Cobras youth.

Well the interview was Clint's whole idea according to the description. I guess he just wanted to filibuster, but frankly the biggest thing that it shows is how deep in denial Clint is about Cobes' substance abuse. "He's just gonna do it because he can!" What an insane excuse.

"But rehab!" You can't force someone against their will into rehab
"But a group home!" You can't force someone against their will into a group home and he's not retarded enough to go involuntarily.
"He could threaten to stop paying his rent!" Josh would continue drinking and allow himself to become homeless and a paypig would either pay for a motel or let him sleep on a couch while continuing to fund his addiction.

Outside of locking him in a shed in his backyard there is no way Clint is stopping Josh from drinking. He will continue to drink and huff duster until he dies.

Let's say you got isekai'd as Clint...
I might be going out on a limb here, but in a situation like this i. e. you have a tardkid but not tarded enough to have his rights limited; also the tard in question has an income stream that provides an incentive and the means to constantly abuse drugs — it might be time to use certain alog tactics in order to:
  • cut off his streaming income
  • ensure the IRL nearby degenerates will not dare to visit him
  • find some kind soul willing to humor his weirdness
  • slowly wean him off booze
And you'd have to arrange all of this to happen without raising any suspicion in Cobes you had anything to do with it. An insane amount of effort, right?
Drying him out would be the hardest, because that one involves a possibility of him fucking dying. Maybe supply him light beers, so he stays away from the liquor? Build a distillation still at home, try to involve Cobes in a way that makes him think it was his idea, while conveniently diluting his share and making it still harsh enough to force him to make a drink combo?
Clint is a misguided dummy IMO, but let's be real here, without knowing what we do now we'd fuck it up somehow too. Although, a sensitive libhick manlet with homoerotic proclivities from fucking Casper, WY might possibly the worst type of a parent for Josh, putting outright abusers and neglectful assholes aside.
