From the brand it must be. Don't know the model but presumably it's a cheap one. If it's the absolute cheapo one it will fail within a month.

As for the why? I have no idea, you can't put sticks in a lathe so cobes will have to rely on fans sending him blanks. And people buy his garbage product anyway so why bother trying? Nevermind the potential harm, the mess, the absurdity of running a lathe in your living room. It will be a spectacle when he first gets tangled in it.

iirc he either played with one Clint owned years ago, or really wanted one more recently. It came up a few times before a long time ago, I guess he's only just know getting around to actually getting his hands on one. He had mentioned it as one of the "next level wands" things that was going to really bring in the bucks.

He mentioned lathes and wanting to get one in a stream and now someone sent it to his PO box together with the shop vacuum. It looked like it was "drop shipped" straight from Amazon.

I think we will have to wait and see. Most of these things are so simple they just don't break (as long as Josh doesn't overload the motor/speed control or breaks the bearings).
