Yeah, he just seems to exist at this point, barely does anything. Its not helped by the fact that he doesnt have to do anything, as he gets enough cash in from the pigs that he can fund his booze, daddy takes care of the rest of his cash. He has no desire to do anything anymore, just sits around, the odd comment about "relayshons" or "that bitch ex of mine".
Not sure whats really left for him anymore, he is so degraded at this point that he would struggle to do anything that he might want to do. Its taking its toll on him that's for sure
I feel like he knows his health is on a downward spiral. His dental issues are probably the main source of his depression. Being in a state of constant pain, especially when eating, and refusing to do anything about it, he is most likely self medicating with booze to numb the pain the best he can. Even if he started on a treatment plan today to get his mouth back into a somewhat healthy condition, it would take 18-24 months, 10's of thousands of dollars, multiple surgeries and rounds of anti biotics, and probably even more pain before he got any relief. Though I am a firm believer that if he were to fix his mouth, his overall demeaner would improve but we all know he is never going to do it.
I mean anyone who has ever had a toothache, or a canker sore in a terrible spot in their mouth, making it impossible to enjoy a meal, it is insanely depressing. Now imagine that pain amplified by 100 and is never ending and getting worse. That's his life.
I've talked about this a few times but a treatment plan for getting his mouth in order would look something like this:
The gums would have to dealt with first. I would assume a handful of deep scaling sessions would be in order (deep scaling is literally scraping the diseased gums away). Though it would probably be for not, as his gums might be completely shot, which would require a graft surgery from a cadaver donor. This would take months of prep, and then god knows how long to heal. Can't do any work on the teeth until the gums are in better shape.
At that point which I would assume would be a year+ process, it is a decision between dentures or implants. The teeth are gone, there is nothing less to salvage so they all have to come out, so that is another major dental surgery and healing process. Dentures would be the cheaper and easier way to go once the mouth was "healthy" again. But being so young with dentures... that would be embarrassing for anyone else. But he would never be able to afford the $3000+ per tooth implant cost.
So a 2 year investment of time and a lot of money, and an insane amount of pain, for better health long term and a quality of life improvement of 100%. He will never do it on his own, Clint would have to force it, but I mean, we all know this is never happening.
