Let's not forget a big thing, cobes could easily be arrested for public intoxication if he was out and about, clint wouldn't be able to stop that easily.

There's always enough new people coming in that the "Clintervention" meme will never stop. The new people will learn in a year or two, but the process will repeat by then.

I get it. Josh does need help and it's a little baffling why Clint doesn't do more. The reality is that Clint has tried to help him for literal decades and it's always been a Sisyphean task. Clint would try, Josh would always refuse, the lesson would never take and most of the time Josh would blow the fuck up about it. It was so bad that Clint has said things to the effect of "I was always walking around on eggshells" and "I'd be lying if I said I didn't breathe a sigh of relief when he left."

I'm sure Clint loves Josh, and I'm sure sometimes he still tries to help Josh but ultimately he knows it's a fruitless endeavor and frankly, I don't think he wants the headache. I think he just wants to be on civil terms with Josh for however long he lives.

He can't be helped by anybody, not even himself.

Also, cobra gets angry and violent once he drinks. Imagine going to a restaurant and your drunk son starts to scream at people and try to hit on some women. No one wants that

I was impressed by tonight's stream. One of my favorite moments was Cobes rhetorically growling "You want to see too drunk?" to an absent Clint, then continuing the party. Alas, Clint did not want to see "too drunk," which is why he was absent. This was a moment of pure adolescent defiance, fueled by a total lack of insight and vodka.

Cobes is a talented alcoholic, a natural. Lack of insight enables many a true and honest alcoholic to do their best drinking and reach their full hobo potential. If you do not understand that you have a problem, how it effects you, how others's see it, and how it impacts others, then you can really let your problem develop into something special. Cobe's is renowned for his lack of insight, and it gives him a tremendous advantage as an alcoholic. He doesn't realize he has a problem, doesn't see what's happening to him, doesn't understand how other's are reacting to him, doesn't appreciate how it must affect Clint. Thus, tonight's glorious stream. He doesn't get it, and cannot be made to get it because he is an actual, factual retard.

I believe he will drink until external forces prevent him from doing so. His relationship with Clint will not be one of these forces.

they did before and he refused treatment. tbh cops really don't want to do wellness checks/taking them in for a psych hold (mostly since they don't like the mentally ill), so if he lies, they'll just let him go. last year, they did on check after his massive drinking and suicide talk, and he just refused treatment. cops really won't take someone in unless they're there hearing the suicide threat, or the person asked for help.

People fear death but not cobes! He just cant wait to die, but he wont kill himself cuz so many people love him and care about him, and he wants a girlfriend, so he'll just wait for death! Also the people that care about him also hate him for being drunk on his birthday how dare they.

the fact that he threatens death/ wish for death over his own dumb shit is annoying. people have killed themselves over little/ major things, and he's saying this shit like a little child not getting the toy they wanted. ffs no wonder clint gave up hope

Apparently someone did text Clint and praised him about taking a stand against his son's alcoholism. Clint only replied "fuck off!!!!!!" to it.

There are more people into Cobra than ever but there's no outlets for anything remotely interesting the way it's been going for years now. He's got no friends, doesn't go anywhere, and doesn't do anything but rant and drink. He can't go anywhere without trolls calling. He has paypigs and new fans sending him money just funding his alcoholism. People are desperately trying to make "sagas" happen, when the well has ran dry. I've watched Josh for what seems like over a decade and, well, the wind's been dying down for a while now. The only thing I can see after this is tax problems in 2023 when he has declare all his PayPal usage from this year to the IRS. Aside from that, it's just drinking more, vocal covers and gender relations.

I don't like clint, but all the newfags can't understand that he can't do shit. josh is an adult; clint can't tell him what to do. I remember someone suggest that clint refuse to give josh his ssi unless he stops drinking. well, that stealing. christ, reddit downies are annoying. I had a feeling once cobra became more mainstream, there would be more faggots trying to make "sagas" and trying to get internet fame.
