The "Clints wealthy" thing stems from theories the gas company that operated the semi that caused the almost fatal accident clint was in stopped operating in Wyoming shortly after because the settlement may have had something to do with it. There are a few other reasons people think it as well, him being a photography teacher at a community college does not compute with him taking multiweek vacations to places like New York and Ireland every year, the whole "its a class trip" thing doesnt hold up because usually instructors would have to help pay their way for some of that stuff since its just a community college (especially a community college in the middle of wyoming) Not to mention he just bought a muscle car out of the blue that he told josh used to be his that he sold when Josh was born? We havent heard much about it in a long while but still.
What they get wrong is his ssi paying for the entirety of joshes rent and utilities, looking at how much rent costs at conquistador apartments (these are not low income apartments btw) around 850 a month average for a single bedroom. SSI Goes up to around 750-800 so not enough for barely enough for just rent. Then add on utilities like electric and internet.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was on food stamps. He used to actually make "food" and his mom was the one dropping off his groceries. Im willing to bet he still gets groceries delivered from Clint and Home Step-Mom, he just never mentions it because he's been putting in effort not to talk about his fam these days, and he's just too lazy to video making food more than once in a blue moon that isnt just sitting in front of the computer eating something already prepared.
