I'd lean towards convenience. I don't think he has the brainpower left to comprehend things like him being an obnoxious fuck when drunk lead to him being banned from places. In that septic tank he has for a noggin it's always the damn troles fault.
I dont know why people think he was trespassed. He was refused service at the alcohol counter because he smelled like booze and he got whiney, nothing to indicate he was banned. That doesn't even mean he was refused service at the regular checkouts either. Just buying booze when he's drunk and smelling like liquor.
This dude's entire shtick is making long videos, so that's in character.

This would be a good guess if not for the fact that he's already larger than Cobra, probably larger than the wider interest in Cobra, and Cobra probably has zero overlap with his audience. I just can't even imagine what clout there would be to gain here, it's very strange the more you think about it. It's like he wants to make his own version of the iDubbbz Airsoftfatty doc for some reason. That, or he actually has a genuine interest and doesn't realize that his primarily video game based audience probably doesn't give a shit. Latter possibility seems unlikely though.
People in the comments of the video have made that comparison, too. Honestly, this feels like a poorly done vanity project that didn't have a lot of thought put into it.

It’s definitely inspired by that Idubbz documentary. The editing style and speaking to the camera in front of wall to commentate it is definitely similar (not that it was very original to begin with.) The trapped documentary was much more Cinema Verite with no commentary which made it a much better character study. Clout chasing isn’t the right word but it was definitely made to expand the guys channel. The cooking was funny as always and the darfliny was cool but the Josh interview was too soft and just kind of boring. Overall I’d give it a 6.5/10. Maybe people would enjoy it more if you were someone new to cobra.
