Agreed. He isn't at the point where he is requiring alcohol - yet. He probably would feel like shit if stopped drinking but it would more or less be because he ran outta money to buy alcohol, not some healthy decision. He doesn't take criticism well, let alone listen to people saying he needs to lay off the booze.

What I think is kinda funny is the lathe in his apartment. My old man had a workshop in our basement and that shit generated a crazy amount of sawdust. His landlords get angry about smoking, they would get real pissy if saw mounds of dust getting everywhere. Not to mention, that shit is going to kill his new computer...
I don’t know if the landlord knows about the lathe yet. I’m sure he or she wouldn’t like it. However, his apartment complex is a low income one and usually they don’t give two shits what you do there as long as you not burning the place down. That’s one reason Dave is able to talk/sell/do drugs and no one is doing shit about it

I didn't even think about the lathe/computer relationship. Plus all the tobacco smoke? Jesus fucking Christ.

If they care about smoking, they will flip their shit over a lathe. They are also pretty loud and will cause vibration through the floor. His neighbors will start complaining when there is a constant humming coming through the floorboards while he tries making wands at 2 AM drunk.

I am waiting for Cobes to have a seizure or shit himself hard from all the drinking.
If he went cold turkey with alcohol he wouldn't have a seizure or anything nearly as serious as that. He's defiantly an alcoholic but it's strange, he struggles with anything strong. He can barely take a swig of Jack Daniels without his face spazzing out, let alone develop a dependence on it.

True, he isn’t anywhere close to relying on Kepra to stay alive, but he will eventually hit that point and that will be a disgusting saga to behold.

It's not really the strength of what you drink, it's the habitual use of it over a long period of time. When you stop, the GABA receptors go nuts and your body goes full flight-or-fight response. If you drink every day, to the point of passing out over more than a couple years, you stand a pretty big chance of having serious repercussions when you stop. I've known alchies who never drank hard stuff, but could clear a 12 pack in a day, every day. You do that for long enough, your body needs it or it overproduces the chemicals your brain uses to defend itself from the booze.

To be clear, I'm not saying he would or wouldn't have health issues from quitting it, just that you don't need to be drinking a handle of the hard stuff a day to have it hit you like a tank when you stop.

It’s also clear in his “vidiyas” he is polishing some beers before streaming/recording. The one where he vomits on himself is a good sign where he is heading.

Power level here but In college I use to work at a complex like the one josh lives at. we had a motto “as long as that they don’t burn the place down, don’t give a fuck”. They use to do some of the most weird random shit there. We were only there to fix shit (which they usually broke) but after a while, they could get kicked out. I’m sure they will start to care after a while but it takes some time. Screaming at 2am would more likely get him kicked out quicker than the lathe. However, the lathe could be a fire hazard if it runs on electricity. Have a power tool fit inside a shitty outlet from the 70s could start a fire. A shit ton of these places aren’t even fit to plug a laptop in.

Not trying to power level here, but I used to be a raging alcoholic. I could drink rum and whiskey straight all day but would look like a bitch over shit vodka. Kracken rum also made me retch even though I once loved it.

He may have a hard time drinking because he is going hard all the time. I used to have to force myself to drink — least the first one of the day. Your body is trying to tell you to slow down and it don’t need that poison. I actually got to a point where I would dread those first pulls, but at same time i needed it and knew my hangover would numb..

Our boy may be heading down that road

Exactly. Your pancreas starts to go first, and that's what usually triggers vomiting if you're a boozehound. Most people think about liver issues such as cirrhosis but alcohol fucks up a lot more than that.

When I stopped years ago, I got sick as fuck. I got chills, nausea, and pretty much a shitty flu. It took about month to feel normal, and even then couldn’t sleep for months.

My sort of power level is assisting those that are still raging alcoholics and drug abusers, seeing what they go through and knowing the signs definitely is indicating that he is going down this path.

It’s kills your heart, kidneys and brain quickly. Also weakens your arteries and veins. With his poor diet, drinking , drugs, and smoking cobra is looking at a massive stroke/ heart attack before he hits 40….unless he create a circle of protection against this.

Yep. I temper myself these days, but I've known a lot of people who thought they had it under control yet didn't. Give it another year or so. The potency of your drinking is irrelevant, it's the habitual use.

I think he is at the ‘alcoholic abuser’ point, where it may not be everyday but when he does, it’s a blackout binge. I used to do that and it’s easy to tell yourself you can stop — since you didn’t drink everyday that week, just three of them in a row. All day.

He remind me of a science experiment they did once with apes. Basically, if left alone they literally just drink booze, masturbate to porn, and smoke. Sound familiar?

Universe 25 comes to mind, but that wasn't apes. Then again, universe 25 comes to mind way too much these days.

@Games I think they would need their own board, not just a thread. Like Gunt, DSP, and Chris where you can post threads on that topic. Since Phil has so much to discuss, from the weirdos like Derich to his WWE champions account and Chris duh.

Although I would really like to nominate Josh as next in line deserving a thread. There’s enough weirdos in Joshs actual orbit, content creators worth talking about and sharing their work/gossip, or just people like Courtney and chazzzzzzz. Plus he’s been around forever. Give Josh a board.

Cobes deserves the board, toobz! I agree though. Cobra has been around since I started lurking here without a profile. Chris has become a failcow, Gunt is honestly pretty boring. and as much as I like fucking with Toots, he's a boring piece of shit too.

Kobes was a premie with underdeveloped lungs, right? I'd wager the constant smoking will get him before the alcohol, and that's not even delving into whatever potential organ failures he might already have.
Could be with but with how much he drinks at one time. He could easily die from acute alcohol poisoning
