He did, he got much more than he asked for in multiple lump sums that specified it was for that. He dangled that promise of that video like a carrot in front of them for weeks and didn't deliver. That's the definition of a scam.

Can't feel too sorry for people who donated the money, though. Josh has become like Scotty in recent years. He tells ridiculous lies and makes ridiculous excuses for the sketchy shit he's doing on a regular basis. He's become a malicious little asshole who's not above scamming his viewer base for some booze, like most addicts.

I can't wait till the new online 'good and services' requirement of the IRS begins next year. If Cobes gets more than $600 a year in deposits (Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal and others) they gotta report that shit. I suspect he makes a decent amount of money E-begging and this new law may threaten his tugboat -- or at least piss Clint off.

Its absolutely going to affect the ssi, which is going to fuck with how he pays his rent, which is going to mean we're going to have a stressed toddler man doing a lot more ebegging and clints gonna be making more juans, which is going to become a vicious cycle of the IRS taking more, which means more work for cobes to stay afloat.

Josh hasn't informed Clint about any of this so I'm sure it'll be a mad dash at the last minute to print out yearly totals and send them in. He'll get a talking to.

More worried about whether his monthly income will exceed what his benefits allow for countable income. At this point they wouldn't cut him off, he doesn't make enough and he stays below the bar, but once SSI finds out he's making that donation money because he has to declare it, they'll deduct a portion of his earnable income from his SSI check. Josh being Josh is not going to prepare for this. He's going to do what he always does when he gets donations; Spend his money immediately and buy booze. Then when the 1st of the month rolls around, he's gunna get a call from Clint that'll go something like this:

"Hey Josh, I hope you've been saving your money, because your $700 SSI payment is now $300. What do you mean you didn't save your money?! Gotta start doing it now, bud."

That's going to mark a new saga more than anything else will. Make no mistake, this is a ticking time bomb, it's coming and it'll only get worse because every six months he gradually makes more and more in donations. The begging is going to reach an all time high and he will start doing some desperate things to make rent each month. This is gunna fuck his entire groove up.

I'm not sure exactly how they calculate SSI but I think Jorsh is safe if he maintains under $1700ish a month. I'm pretty sure Cobes (aka Clint) was reporting his Youtube income before his channel was demonetized and he was making $800-$1k a month and still got SSI.

Could be wrong though, I'm not really familiar with the welfare system.
