Looks like Josh is possibly 400 in the hole now, the juxtaposition of cobes going "I dont need my fans to give me money to go live" to "pay me 400 dollars and I'll turn off slow mode" is just hilarious.

Even with that lizard and the 20-topping gluttonous doordash orders, I have no idea how he keeps going hundreds of dollars in the hole week after week. It's like every week for the past two months he's $300-400+ in the hole and then begs his way back out of it, then he goes more into the hole the week after. Not to mention one of those weeks he had $600 coming to him from his locked paypal.
 
70% of the fermentation happens in the first 3-5 days, then slows down as the yeast struggles to survive in its own piss (ethanol). However bread yeast usually can't handle more than 8% so that's probably the best he's going to get from his "wine". At this point, it's probably around 5-6% at best. Adding sugar isn't going to do anything because it already has more than it could possibly consume. Given the low alcohol content, he's spending more money on juice/sugar/yeast than cheap liquor would cost in WY, but as people mentioned he can't buy that with food stamps.
glad to know all the work and time he's putting into it is not much stronger than a beer and less abv than a mike's hard

He is using instant rise baking yeast.

Several years ago i experimented to see how high of a percentage of alcohol I could get out of baking yeast. i tried different types of juices, different amounts of sugar, extra yeast, yeast nutrient, etc. No matter what, the alcohol never went over about 4%, and I was meticulously testing with a hydrometer through the process.

I wish cobes would just get a cheap airlock, a siphoning tube, and some real yeast. This was funny at first but now im getting sad and frustrated.

What is he even using for an airlock. When I was underaged brewing (and into college and beyond when poor) I’d just use the balloon with a hole poked in it method.

He can't get any yeast from Albertsons because he's banned from the Casper Albertsons.

You can easily find wine yeast online and get it shipped direct no issue. A $2 wine yeast can easily handle higher abv too without much work. I would dump this into my early meads and wines when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing.

He had a guy who made a documentary on him buy him some things. I'm sure his dad does from time to time too.
Also how the fuck do you get banned from Albertsons?
They refused to sell him liquor because he smelled like booze and he made a big public stink about it. The trolls ended up harassing the store with Google reviews and the owner got pissed. It's pretty much the same story from all of the places around town that he's been banned from.
