There is no way this mead is cost effective. You can't convince me this is cheaper than bottle shelf.
It's probably cheaper than a lot of off the shelf stuff. The only things I can see that would be a better value would be a handle of bottom barrel vodka like Leeds or Boones Farm swill. Malt garbage like Steel Reserve, Colt .45, Old English, King Cobra, etc... 40 oz. bottles of any of those are typically $2-3.

Speaking of which, why doesn't he actually drink King Cobra? He must have tried it at some point.

This is gonna sound retarded but this is actually a drink hack that's fuckin dank, King Cobra 40 oz and Sunny D.

Shit is delicious.

Speaking of, MOTHERFUCK I wish I could get food stamps, I work my ass off for a little above a bare minimum kinda lifestyle, every time I go to the grocery store I spend between $100-$400 and it's literally nothing.

This cocksleeve sits on his ass getting "drunk" cosplaying a gothic bad boy and gets all his needs taken care of.
I am fine not receiving food stamps and SSI if it means not living like KingCobraJFS.

Boom, about 100 fl oz of 12-14% apple """mead""" for under $10. It could cost less if he used granulated sugar. Hell even with no additional sugar he'd have a respectable dry cider for less than a case of cat food. Even the EC-1118 could be a one time cost if he reused the yeast-rich sediment from batch to batch. Three dollars for nearly a gallon of blackout fuel.
You're talking about a retard who somehow manages to blow a hundred bucks on a fucking pizza with absolutely nothing special about it.

I think he is just to regarded to understand what he is reading. From my experience in wine making 1-2 weeks in your primary fermenter(bucket or whatever) then you transfer it to a sterilized carboy for at least a few more weeks to settle and clear up. Then transfer again and let it age. I think Mead takes longer due to the honey.
Yeah I have been making some and generally that's what you need to do but that's assuming you have a decent airlock and aren't constantly exposing it to air and sipping it, plus you aren't supposed to shake it like he does. I am also pretty sure putting too much sugar will actually stop the yeast from fermenting so I really don't think he is getting any alcohol even when he waits more than a week.

This "mead" is going to be fucking vile. His teeth are going to be screaming at all the sugar.
Why is he making it in his chair? Are his legs so atrophied that standing up is tiring? He shuffles around like a 90 year old.
"Not gonna have much room for the liquid but that's alright." 🤣

Being unironically jealous of Cobra is next level pathetic.

circle of protection on cobra's mouth. this one is gonna melt those goth-as-fuck teeth.
Which is probably beneficial for him at the end of the day. Chances are the bulk of his teeth are dead and crumbling away already, so the more he can vaporize himself, means less work for a dentist down the road. Though, I feel like he won't ever go and if he does, like I have said in the past, his gums are so far gone that I don't think much reconstructive work teeth wise can be done until his gums are in a healthy enough state to withstand it.

What I don't get is where he keeps hearing the "wait 2 weeks for it to become mead" thing, you need to wait usually 3 or so months with good conditions to get to around 10-15%abv, and he isn't even waiting 2 weeks so there is no way its anything other than yeasty sugar juice. I assume he might be adding other alcohol to it to try and trick people into thinking its alcoholic at all.
I was thinking that when people were saying its vinegar-y. I havent made mead so the process may be different but years ago I got a bit into homebrewing and with beer I think the process is around 2-3 weeks on the yeast before you take it off, rack it into a second fermenter to chill out some more where you can add something like cacao nibs or oak chips from my recipes, another 2 weeks or so-- and then another like 30 days when you bottle it because of the priming sugar, but regardless beer is only getting up to like 7-9% abv anyway probably even from homebrewing with a lot of malt/grain/sugar/whatever.

I do know that like 7 days is probably not enough for the yeast to have finished actively fermenting the sugars into alcohol, so I think hes looking up a homebrewing beer guide. Its funny to me though that hes probably actively drinking essentially a yeast slurry especially if he isnt siphoning it off or something.
