I always tell people this. I see people constantly asking "why doesn't clint tell him to stop drinking?" or "why doesn't clint hold onto cobra's money?" the reason is fuckin' simple. he's a legal adult and isn't deemed to be unable to take care of himself. I know someone will say this: " but he's on disability!" well, yes, he is but the court only really step in if the person is like so out of it that they don't even know where they are at. Clint will have to go to court and fight to show that josh can't even do basic shit, and I'm sure the court will rule against him.

You nailed it. So many people think that Clint somehow can just waltz into Josh's apartment and say "Hey BOY we are going to rehab right now grab your shit!" he legally cannot do that. Josh isn't low functioning enough to where Clint has that power over him and there is a 0% chance he ever willingly agrees to go. He's a massive moron and increasingly cannot take care of himself but he also isn't an actual down syndrome type level of retard. He is in the same grey area as Chris Chan where he's not quite high functioning enough to properly live alone but he also isn't low functioning enough to qualify for a conservatorship/group home.
my god, PL: in college, I use to work at a group home and he will hate it. no drinking, no smoking weed, chores, eat whatever they cook, and bed time. hell, most group homes will even take all his money and leave him with 30 bucks. it's common. they won't let him stream since you cant exposed the people living there. he will also, most likely, will have to go to therapy to live there. tbh most places wouldn't want him. swatting will be an issues if he would live there.
None of those things you cited would be grounds for a conservatorship in and of themselves. A legal adult is totally free to make fusel oil and methanol-laden pruno, huff duster and lose their bearded dragon to later die behind the oven or freeze to death outside without any intervention.

I think they call it "soft firing" where they cut your hours down to basically nothing waiting for you to quit.
