Maybe, but remember he got really careful after the stream he fell and beat the shit out of his hat and yelled at the cigarette. Very careful about stopping stream when he was starting to feel the buzz etc. I think he got caught up in the glitz and glam of the super berries tbh

He slips up, but he's definitely learned. That's why we don't get the stream of videos and streams of him just speaking his mind and spouting all sorts of dumb shit. He's learned that people will continuously harass him IRL when he streams and people will make all sorts of videos making fun of him for looking stupid.

He has adapted to hide some behaviours but certain ones he can't; particularly anything involving alcohol.

One drink leads too two, two leads to him throwing up on the floor and beating the shit outta his hat. Alcoholics learn to hide behaviors but the end result still is going to result in them making bad decisions and over-drinking (least his case). He won't avoid YouTube and he def won't avoid alcohol.

Cobra is already at the point where quitting would be painful. Where he's at you don't just stop drinking and the next day you're cool. Severe depression and anxiety will happen at the least for a week or two. That's if he's lucky.

I'd guess he binge drinks in waves, mostly due to finanical constraints, which is the funny as hell given how much paypig money he's been getting the past few months. Any other drunk would be able to comfortable keep themselves in booze 24/7 with his money, but cobes is a boglim with the least impulse control I've ever seen in a human being, it's genuinely toddler level. He can't alocate his funds correctly for his own addictions.

I know hardcore alcoholics can develop not a tolerance but better chances at surviving ethanol poisoning (video on Iron Mike Malloy) but I can't imagine Josh is anywhere near that. He's just a baby alcoholic, he doesn't even drink his alcohol unmixed in majority of cases except for beer.

That boy could barely stomach tiny pulls of the everclear, you can see him recoil after taking a big whiff of it in the video. It was to celebrate his dry spell on valentine's day. I think most of it was consumed in sugary drink combos because Josh's bizarre mutant alcoholic type is also that of an alcoholic who does not enjoy alcohol, although he's certainly gotten better (worse?) in that regard. As in, he no longer needs mixer for his beer, but hard liquors he cannot drink straight. Probably why he seemed to be enjoying his pruno-kombucha tolerance break with his disgustingly sweet "meads."

Maybe he would avoid the clinical definition of being a tard, but he would be so utterly borderline that there wouldn't be a fundamental difference. We can crack jokes about Floridians and Casperites who live under powerlines all day long, but at the end of the day they're normal people who live normal lives. They get jobs, they get married, they have children, they consume products and media content, they die.

Even without the tism, Cobra would still struggle with daily life and tasks. Everybody knows a deeply stupid individual in real life who still manages to survive on their own and live normal lives.

Josh struggles with more then just basic math. He has trouble reading and was also frequently in trouble at his part time Wendy's job because he could not stop mixing up the sweetened and not sweetened teas. It goes far beyond just Florida redneck stupid he is actually disabled.

The next drink always looks more appealing after the previous one. The exact wrong time to try and apply self control is after a few drinks, because it's not gonna work. This is why alcoholics stop drinking entirely, or they continue being alcoholic and slipping deeper into binges.

My guess is Daniel Larson is probably in the 70s, cobes is perhaps in the 80s. Whatever threshold Daniel sits just under, Cobes is at least one notch above. He's certainly got a better grip on reality and in many ways is more functional (although when you get right down to it, just barely). They are both greatly lacking any theory of mind and this can be used as a lens to understand a great deal of their behavior.
