They think it’s their duty to “hold him accountable” like they’re fucking internet vigilantes. It’s a pathological thing. My friend who introduced me to lolcows with Chris Chan in 2008 was absolutely seething all the time and bragging about the way Chris was getting fucked with at the time and that he’s “getting what he deserves” and would list all of Chris chans wrongdoings and this was back in 2008 when all he was known for was being creepy and getting trolled into drawing gross shit. My friend on the other hand was pretty fucking autistic, didn’t really have friends besides me, couldn’t talk to girls, was a kissless virgin, and wrote sonic fan fiction through most of highschool. It was pretty safe to say he was projecting his insecurities and self hatred on somebody else. I haven’t spoke with the guy for over 10 years so I hope he’s doing well god I wonder what he thinks of Chris Chan now if he had a seething hatred and desire for him to get “punished” as bad as he did back then.

Anyway, tl;dr: Cobes A-log trolls probably as pathetic as he is in a lot of ways and are projecting or deflecting

I think the issue was, the cage shown seems to be the type used to lure feral cats for programs that capture wild cats in order to vacinate and neuter/spay them, then re-release them so they can continue living but wont spread disease or reproduce.

I honestly don't think Cobes knew all of that. He probably thought it was some mean old trol leaving their caged, defenseless cat out in the cold, but even if this was the case, it was an extremely regarded thing to do. In Wyoming, like many states, pets are considered property/chattel. If this was someones pet and owner shows the police the video of Cobes releasing it or tampering with the cage, Cobes would be 100% liable for the cost of the cat and possibly any previous care that was spent on the cat by the owner.

Edit: Im not sure if its the same in Wyoming, but in my state and several others that I have found, usually these programs will deliberately leave a small notch on one of the cats ears as an identifier that they have been vacinated and fixed. That way grouchey old people wont try to kill them thinking they are "helping" getting rid of a diseased cat or one that will keep breeding.

These programs are kinda cool. They dont help the problem of cats killing wild/song birds, but it's a good step

$7k? $400 for expenses and $6600 for her "fee". This bitch must think we're as dumb as cobra. If it was $1k, maybe $2k, there'd be a chance. But now that she's asking for such an outrageous amount she's guaranteed that nobody, not even tarded pay pigs, will donate a dime. I'd rather donate cobes a "scorn the slut" fund. I'm offended. Yeah I'm guessing from the story and the time it was found that's exactly what it was. Someone's pet just doesn't make sense. Who the hell brings their cat to the vet at 5 am and leaves it unattended out in the cold?

Free range kitties gotta roam just like the big dogs gotta eat
