  • turret/teleporter lag should be fixed
    • turns out turrets were casting invisible 'test' projectiles which appear to have been hitting portals, teleporting and nullspacing themselves or something, and then the test projectiles never hit anything so the test proc ran forever
  • some defib fixes (me and @HahaYes)
  • new EPOD sprite
  • escape shuttle departure/arrival effects (@HahaYes)
  • ai default language fixed (can now talk over radio without needing to manually fix default language)
  • combat belts can hold c4 now
  • ghosts no longer auto-spawn as xeno but instead via 'Join As Xeno' from the IC tab
    • larvas hatch on their own and will just be afk
    • any afk xeno can be taken over
  • xeno lunge stun buffed from 2s to 3s
    • lunge now has a 1.5s cooldown
  • xeno tackle stun buffed from 0.5s to 1s
  • intent hotkeys now work for xenos
 
@geckogoy I was wondering if there would be an easy way to track if there were any reagents consumed in game? Might be funny if you could add a traitor goal to dose the station with X amount of drugs or something.
Definitely not inspired by Cokeieta.

Do larvas auto-hide on hatching? If not, they're going to get stomped. Alternatively, port /vg/ behavior where one can set a preference to "always" – no longer asks for a prompt in chat, will always put you in the body of a fresh xeno/traitor/pAI/whatever.

Oh yeah, I saw you get beaten by the blob for several minutes, screaming in pain while floating in space until (((they))) euthanized nuked the station.
I saw it through my ghostly eyes of a dead rat that got insta-killed by the expanding blob. I wish I could have joined earlier.

Nah that was a combo of RP and I misread chat logs like a moron. They broke my leg and ribs, but the rig suits act like splints when you have broken bones and support wherever the break is, my tard brain combined the "you feel something rip in your upper body" and "you feel the suit constrict around your chest, supporting it" messages lmao. Plus decided to arpee it a bit anyways given I had like 13 of them in total by the end of it flogging my guy, so figured it'd be fitting as I was floating around in space, add to the danger etc etc

Kino first Blob round after the buff, where the crew had a stand-off with blob in Virology while other blob cores were neglected completely, ended up taking over the main hallways and completely surrounding Medbay. I perform surgery on local Chef, then we make our way to Engineering via maints, don hardsuits and almost make it into Space before the now patched turret bug raeps the server.

Bug & feature request report @geckogoy
  • Randomize blob core spawns some more;
    • from what I understand the spawn points are pre-defined so sooner or later people will memorise them by heart. Is there a way to make blob care spawn at truly random places?
  • Gibbed silicons don't spawn those dark and oily silicon gibs;
  • Crisis and/or Surgical borgs need an in-built defib;
  • Dart gun is broken - can't launch its darts properly;
    • they just "fall" at the same floor tile they've been fired from;
  • Limit examining description ( examine() proc) range for dart gun, temperature gun and automatic guns;
  • Temperature gun shots do literally nothing;
    • don't raise or lower the temperature of targeted mobs;
  • Dart gun Topic menu is not updating properly;
  • Add the ability to smash tables with items on harm intent;
  • Immovable Rods random event;
    • they CAN be admin-spawned but currently suck ass (break after smashing through a few objects lmao);
      • should smash through the entire station then de-spawn at the map edge instead;
    • they also get stuck in shuttle walls and I suspect in other indestructible objects like nuclear warhead;
  • Can't hit bots with bare hands on harm intent;
  • Cursed cat corpse bug wasn't really fixed;
  • Correct a gibbing animation for Lizard simple mob (yes, there's a gibbing animation specifically for those small lizards lol);
  • Add airlock bolt sounds;
  • "This is !" - apparently, roles with modifiable names like ERT and Nuke Ops can enter a blank name;
  • The big, red S around nukers' heads appears very inconsistently near fellow operatives and never near you (see screenshot);
    • if it appears or doesn't roundstart near a fellow nukie, it stays visible/invisible until the rest of the shift;

  • No atmospheric/enginering jumpsuits spawn in their respective lockers;
  • Air alarms' pressure check setting in Vent Control shouldn't be eligible for enabling both Internal and External at the same time;
  • Add radsuits to Engineering - there's a single anti-radiation suit on the entire map and it's in Secondary Medbay Storage;
    • might as well port radiation lockers themselves and Geiger counters from /vg/;
  • No "0 xenos found" or similar message appers for Join As Xeno verb when available xenos aren't found;
  • "You can't fit into that vent." - maintenance drones can't fit into the vents;
  • Can't breathe through a chameleon mask;
  • Admins can see prayers, right? I asked today in ahelps if they can and I forgot already;

    • /vg/ has a good sound for that, might steal it later;

    • for example, :h will cause you to talk over your department's radio channel but :H will fail - fix this, it's kinda annoying;
  • Fix being able to equip several items in a single inventory slot;
  • Add a unique sprite for antibody scanner;
  • Apparently, both security HUD overlay and inventory UI disappear for some reason when blind/in crit;
    • maybe it's that darkness overlay incorrectly being a layer higher than overlays and UI?
  • Add a sound for talking in your headset;
    • a short walkie-talkie radio noise sample like on /vg/ would do;
  • Autolathes should print stuff on top of themselves;
  • Port Item Pinpointer or whatever it's called from /vg/ to allow traitors (and maybe ERT) to track High-Risk items, people and items required for antag objectives completion;
    • seriously, what do you do if somebody hides a unique high-risk item like a hypospray or station's blueprints and then just fucking dies?

  • Hulks don't shout after hitting walls, girders, grilles, mobs, mechas;
    • can't hit airlocks, windoors, tables, security cameras, blast doors with bare hands on harm intent either;
  • Hallucinations mutation is broken (doesn't do anything);
    • are hallucinations broken in general? do rads even cause them? I don't think they do;
  • No Breath mutation is broken (you still need internals to breathe);
  • Super Speed mutation slowls you down instead;
  • Remote Viewing mutation doesn't work (as in, the Remote View verb doesn't);
    • refer to marauder.dm, zoom() verb on how to fix it;
  • Shock Immunity mutation is broken (you can still get shocked);
  • Mob jiggle animation caused by seizures lasts forever;
  • Regeneration mutation doesn't work? (doesn't really make you heal any faster from what I could tell);
  • Heat Resistance mutation doesn't work (does not protect you from high temperatures);
    • Cold Resistance does work though, maybe refer to it to see how the above can be fixed;
  • Midget mutation works, but doesn't make your sprite visibly smaller (steal behavior from /vg/);
    • it still has purpose btw because climbing tables takes like 5 seconds, with this power you can walk over them with no cooldown;
  • Nervous and Epilepsy mutations are seemingly broken (don't do anything);
  • 'BLENDBLOCK' is a completely broken mutation (does not appear in your genes at all, Player Panel proves this);
  • Laser mutation is unique to Wizard and Wishgranter only, and both are unused content;
    • maybe add this mutation to the human genes instead of a BLENDBLOCK?
  • HUD for monkey's back slot is shifted for some reason (see screenshot);

these should be fixed now

i also moved all the respawn verbs into the ooc tab and removed the time limits for spawning as drone and mouse. you still need to wait for the drone fabricator, but this change could lead to many mice. will just change it so you take control of an existing mouse if we wind up with 1000 dead mice in the bar do not abuse your newfound power

Autolathes should print stuff on top of themselves

the fact that you are calling explode() which kills them instantly. its ok for beepsky to explode on emp_act because he is kindof fragile but not every bot is like that. putting explode under like every undefined interaction for every bot to 'fix' that is kindof annoying and i dont want to merge it

Fair enough. If I make security bots (securitron and ED) more resistant to explosions, will that be a satisfactory solution? All due respect, the rest of bots look fairly fragile, even the hydroponics one.
