As per the other thread I have achieved movement animation at higher frame rate (as it turns out a stray step_x in the exodus-1.dmm map threw it all off and was breaking it which took ages to figure out so that ate up a bunch of extra time instead of the regularly scheduled sleeping) although it looks a bit uncanny due to the animate mode at first

By the way which of these two is less weird? I am erring towards forward which is also what VG has and found slide to be uncanny but I wanted to ask for other opinions

@HahaYes if you go to code/modules/mob/mob_defines.dm you can switch between if you wish to test (you seem to tend to do that so I am just telling you how pre-emptively)
Also this is now pushed to the server
edit: the 'forward' sample seems short (only now that I have finished editing and uploading it), here is more, also last second code screwup fixed
