  • Power network re-map to use circuit breakers instead of SMES for substations
    • breakers totally re-written so as to allow you to see the load on the subnet
      • previously they just magicked a wire into existence to complete the connection, and then deleted it again to close (retarded, impossible to view subgrid load and etc)
    • really need to just rewrite powernets entirely they suck
This will allow you to turn off subgrids while letting you decide that based on how much power they are drawing. Note, the subgrids react to some extent to overall network power available, so if you turn off one grid another might start using more power (see: powernets suck and should be rewritten)

Excellent update fren, just got on to power everything up and had the full station running in under 30 minutes compared to about an hour on average to get all APCs fully charged and SMES running.

One thing I noticed, are outpost power supplies now considered completely independent from the station since the SMES and any breakers for them are no longer present in any of the consoles?

Ya thats on purpose IMO thats not really something that should be close enough to remote control in that way from the station, felt weird to me (I made an exception for the telecomms sat breaker)

TBH pulverizer has just been messaging me PNGs and making me manually fix the offsets because he's black (if you use byond to edit then you can also export from byond as png). You could also send a .dmi or even figure out how to use the repo and make a fork and a PR

(you should know that im kindof picky about what sprites i take)

Had a feeling it was on purpose, good decision. Besides the research outpost SMES never fucking worked in the first place, and the others were a bit unrelable at best so nothing lost
 
oh wow im retarted. It only really a test to see if i did it right .
its just the spaghetti with out the wrapper on it witch makes better sense than it getting a wrapper from thin air when you make it.

Honestly looking at it now I think the times you picked suck I think you should pick 3 days out of the week and set a start and end time for it. Like Sunday Saturday Wednesday 3pm to 9pm and make it more well known that it is up 24 hours all week

I am currently malding over the fact that I cant delete the stupid current poll and nobody will see it if I try to put a link to the straw poll they will just vote on the fake and gay old poll instead.

I shall put up a poll anyways because whatever who cares. If someone knows what nigger mod to ping to delete the forum poll let me know. I have enabled only the times I am okay with and you can pick from those (which goes out to 2am my time so let it not be said I am being picky for no reason). This poll should correct for your time zone, though it probably will prompt you to put it in so that it actually fixes the times for you properly.

The poll in question (remember to input time zone so times are correct nigger)

Probably no-one will vote on this shit anyways because who cares but there it is. If there is a clear good time or times that comes out of this, I will change the schedule and update the OP. Why not, worth a shot.
