To be fair, while the death rate is low there can be a lot of complications from the couf like your sense of taste and smell being destroyed, or at least damaged for several months afterwards and up to 20% of the people that have been put on the ventilator wind up with scarred lungs. Sure in a lot of cases this is cured within a couple of years but in maybe 5% of cases that scarring is permanent. Meaning you'll need steroids to breathe or possibly have to cart around an oxygen tank.< 1%. Death. Rate.
You are more likely to die driving to the theater than you are from any COVID caught there.
It's just death tends to be scarier to people because it's so final.
