Chris really does seem to live in his own world.

He literally could not accept that she just wanted to be friends, which is a lot more than what he's had in his life. Someone paid attention to him, went out with him, and all he can think about is the status of their relationship. That's depressing. Yeah, we know from the Wallflower that he would do this, but it's still depressing.
I would love to see his inner psyche for just five minutes, see how he views the world, see how he views himself. A gorgeous tomgirl, walking through a clean house, off to a date with a girl who's madly in love with him and is about to give him china. In reality he gets out of bed in the living room, wears the same outfit that he did the day before without washing it, not shaving, slathering some blue eyeshadow and lipstick on, and squeezing through the hoard to go on a date with someone who would never sleep with him, ever.

That is a powerful level of escapism.

I can't stop laughing at this. It's like he's saying "We could be friends... BUT IT AIN'T GONNA SUCK ITSELF!"
 
This just goes to show, if Christ get's his heart set on something, especially getting china he will be willing to pester you to the end of the Earth for it.

Also Chris now realized that most of his relationships are theoretical but I guess he doesn't realize that theoretical isn't actual.

"Possibly" the fucking creepiest thing Chris has ever said, the capitalization makes it scary.
Good thing Chris is Chris and Catie was basically free to leave whenever she wanted.

Eh a lot of the transexual and lesbian stuff he does is because he thinks he's obligated to based on what he's read about it. This isn't so much him finding who he really is, so much as him joining a fun group and trying to fit in.
 
I lost it when he made a comparison between Henry the 8th's torture record and Care Bears.

And regarding the first batch of texts with Catherine, Chris doesn't give a damn about the meaning of the word "NO."
