If anything this shows that Chris is utterly incapable of a normal relationship with members of the opposite sex (except for Rocky, perhaps).

When I read the transcripts I'm seeing a person who will do ANYTHING to get what he wants (china in this case). It's an interesting theory that Chris did the Gamestop macing out of pent up frustration with the Catherine situation. If this was the case I'm actually kinda terrified that he'll do something worst next time he gets shot down.

It's a interesting theory about him acting out because he didn't get his own way, and it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. He was upset and just didn't give two fucks and deployed the pepper spray to make some one else feel bad, while I doubt he would so somthing like seek out some one to harm but if he's in a mood and he thinks he can get away with something and some one thwarts his current escapade he'll lash out.

Like a crazy old cat lady. Teaching a new generation of young lesbians how to trib.

When these emails were first dropped, a lot of people tried to rationalize Chris' behavior with "but she was a troll!" I think it bears repeating that Catie was real to him. This is how Chris treats real women. & that's why I worry he'll do something stupid at Impulse.

No one at Impulse is going to get into a Catie situation with Chris. No one, aside from trolls, is going to go on a date with Chris.

It's a lot closer to pathetic than horrifying.

It's Chris getting (what he thinks is) close to china and then he trots out the desperation. BUT WE HAD 97% MATCH ON OKCUPIDDDD!!! THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU??? YOU HEARTLESS BITCH, IT MEANT A LOT TO ME!!!
The 97% thing just proves how really, REALLY autistic Chris actually is to me. Because you would think that someone as "high functioning" as him would realize that a percent on a dating website isn't a guarantee at the sweet china, it just means you're really similar to the other person.

My guess, using the context of the email, is its what a normal person would say " thanks for nothing"
I'm guessing that it's actually OPL's way of saying he's into Adventure Time now too.

See, it's these types of dialogues that I can't just look at and think "lol 'tism". He's being told 'no' repeatedly and he's still determined to get his way. There are times he sounds borderline psychotic and there's more than a little guilt tripping... and the idea that he can do this while telling the recipient not to reply stinks of SJW tactics. If we were looking at this interaction between anyone else, we'd call it abuse and possibly gaslighting in certain areas (though he may have learned a few of those behaviours from past "heartsweets").

It's just fortunate that, like with everything else, Chris sucks at it.

Anything EXCEPT actually changing anything about himself. Chris is like those monkeys who fall for the ball traps. If Chris could just let go of his obsession over china, he might have a legit chance at a healthy friendship. But nope, he just won't let go.

Could not agree more here. His weirdness only comes from prolonged contact with someone. Although Chris talks to several people at Impulse, it doesn't go beyond the initial getting to know you kind of conversation. And besides, his real weirdness only comes out when he is alone with that person (read: troll). No one at Impulse led me to think they would even remotely consider meeting up with him because everyone there was normal. His Facebook pictures are him forcing it on other people and they probably just feel sorry for him.

It's not the other people though it's Chris, while I hope that he makes this last I'm waiting for the post where Chris has ruined yet another friendship because through his autistic optimism he can't tell the difference between just friends and romance. When he gets rebuffed he will take it badly and we will have a repeat of this in some shape or form.

Chris doesn't act like that until he gets into intimate situations, like with Megan or the wallflower. No one at Impulse is going to get into an intimate situation with Chris.

In some ways some of this conversation was almost normal. How many guys in the friend zone are trying to convince a girl that they should date right now? Thats what Chris was doing through the filter of autism and retardation.

Then of course he started comparing his heart to Lego pices and writing "click clock zoobidy bop" or whatever.

I know it's not new but I really do love Barb thinking Catherine only got to know Chris so she would have a place to stay. Like the hoard is totally something non-crazy people want.

Chris so strongly believes that she didn't have a right to turn him down.
He made a lego version of her and cast a voodoo spell on her. I think anyone in his situation would be a little irritated when they don't roll high enough for a successful spell.
