Legend of Zelda thread - Lorefags GTFO!

I've said it before and I'll say it again

Spider-Verse is fucking gay.
Figuratively as well as literally with all the tranny shit being pushed with what's her face. Ideally this leads to backroom discussions stalling over the producers wanting to shove in as much lgbtpedophile propaganda as possible per their hubris, Miyamoto slapping them, and this repeats ad nauseum until he gets sick of it and pulls the plug on the project in favor of animation.

I thought you hated anime? Kirby was okay, I've always wanted to watch the F-Zero one but never got around to it. The Mario film was neat too, but it's pretty old so it doesn't feel like modern Mario.

Nintendo seems to be oddly averse to doing anime for their series now (Pokemon aside), I wonder why.
I only hate modern anime.

But if we're talking about other media Nintendo was involved in, I still think the Mario DiC cartoons are so-bad-they're-good. Even the early-90s Mario movie was unironic kino

Amen to that. I do like the first Spiderverse for how visually amazing it is, but the writing
it insists upon itself.jpg

insists upon itself, as with the story itself. It's still good to watch on mute. I never seen the new Spiderverse and I refused to because fuck Sony, fuck capeshit and fuck the idea of taking the original Peter Parker aback in favor of bullshit Miles Morales in a PC BLM world.

The F-Zero anime is legit the best video game anime I've ever seen. For an alt-universe offshoot for kids in Japan, the show takes such medial, simple elements from the games and gets a surprising amount of world-building and fun characterizations out of it through a lot of narrative expansion.

And apparently Nintendo liked it, too, since they decided to make the anime's storyline/setting into the official continuity of the games going forward.

So I was thinking that we have to be getting pretty near to the Zelda DLC hype cycle start. Since we are pretty late in the year, they'll probably go for E3-time again.

Well probably. Can't know for sure but it'll be on its way soon enough. Unless they hold it until later next year. If they did that it would probably coincide with the next Smash DLC.

TOTK is so packed with shit to do I can't really see DLC happening this time. The Depths alone is bigger than anything in The Champion's Ballad.

Nah, Aonuma said no DLC at all for TOTK a couple months ago. There were a few articles about it.

I just don't believe that. And I have no evidence and am probably wrong. But I just don't buy it.
I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure BOTW DLC was announced before the game even came out. In fact, I think most of Nintendo's games that have gotten DLC work that way. I just see no reason for Aonuma to be cagey about it and say this...:

Aonuma : "There are no plans to release additional content this time, but that's because I feel like I've done everything I can to create games in that world."

... if there was DLC in the works.

I could see them making a "deluxe" version with exclusive content for Switch2, but I doubt we'll get any normal DLC. Bummer too because I'd be way down for Master Mode right about now.
