THANK YOU NINTENDO for not going with the tranny!

But… this movie is still gonna be bad though. I think a live action Zelda movie COULD work, but nothing about this is giving me much hope. This movie is written by the same guy who wrote Jurassic World Dominion, which was one of the worst blockbuster movies I have ever seen.

I checked out their previous stuff, they're both kinda literal who's who recently worked on disney stuff so I'm not optimistic. It's kind of a weird jump to go from Chris Pratt mario to whatever this is
While the Mario movie was a really fun family movie I don’t think it benefited at all from famous voice acting. They managed to pull it off but personally I prefer actors that don’t make me think of their other work everytime they speak

Don't get me wrong, I'm in total agreement, it just seems odd to go from that to this. If these actors can play the role well then great.

It can work if it's kept small and grounded in basic lore. Don't try to adapt a game. Make a simple adventure story about Link being an established "adventurer" type who explores ruins and such, and has to "race" the antagonist (Ganondorf is fine) to get the McGuffin. Maybe there's an ancient power hidden in the "Desert Temple," which turns out to be the Trident. Simple enough and again, grounded in established lore without jumping right to the Triforce and shit.

Fantasy and video game adaptation are a lot to overcome for an audience. Lord of the Rings overcame its hurdle by being unapologetic, however.

The movie will end with Ganondorf becoming the villain as a cliffhanger.

King Hyrule will be GANNON-BANNED.

I won't celebrate Nigtendo getting even more incestuously paired with hollyjew. That never ends well in case people still haven't realized.
They look vaguely like the WindWaker style

I disagree lol, especially if they don't dye his hair. And if they were gonna tackle one of the cel-shaded stories I think they'd just go CG. I'm sure they want to capitalize on the LOTR/Excalibur vibes the series used to have. No Link even remotely comes close to having dark brown hair besides the "Excuse me princess" one. The next closest to brown would probably be TP Link, but only in-game... Please for the love of god Nigtendo do not touch TP with your newly circumcised cock.

In a better world a movie trilogy about Ocarina Link's life would be the only one I'd care to see. Movie 1: Ocarina of Time, the whole thing. Movie 2: Majora's Mask, a bit experimental and trippy. Movie 3: Twilight Princess, passing the torch as hero's shade.

Ocarina itself would take 2 movies. First movie with Child Link, second with Adult Link. Remove some of thr McGuffins and make it more about the hero's journey. Fitting both into one movie would be too jarring.

TP is the most "movie" Zelda but it doesn't work as a standalone. It's a true sequel to Ocarina.

Honestly an ending where Link and Zelda win by the Triforce suddenly manifesting with them, and then the finial scene is a defeated Ganon's hand starting to glow would be kino. Like it's never mentioned in the movie, helps our heroes win via deus ex machina, then fucks them over for a sequel is cool. Better yet, Ganondorf is arrested at the end, set for execution, and we basically get the scene from TP.

Jesus be a river around the two bb actors. Especially since the Schaffer fans are unhinged. Nintendo was never going to cast a trans lead even if they viewed her as a female because A. Still a man before and b. its Japan. Glorious Nippon. To cast a gender changing freak as Princess Zelda is sacrilege.

Also everyone kept saying Hunter would be a good Twilight Princess Zelda because one person posted a pic of him at an awards show where he just happens to have a resemblance......so of fucking course they won't cave in to the woke mob. I'm glad they cast two unknowns.
