I called Voidburger the DSP of SomethingAwful earlier in this thread and I was about to tweet some sort of DSP comparison at her to rile her up, but it dawned on me: DSP was actually in a BETTER position than she ever had been.
DSP was partnered with a sponsorship when he started talking shit to his boss and decided to get fired. When Voidburger couldnt keep her nose out of shit that wasnt her business that she didn't really know anything about, and started shit talking Lowtax, she got fired from her volunteer, unpaid LP community job thing.
Both of them will have trouble finding steady, real work because anybody can look up their names or online persona, and see that they're volatile, unstable people who can't keep their mouths shut, especially when they have a controversial opinion; that they're tough to get along with and too thickheaded and irrational especially when things get tough; that they're foolish and headstrong and unlikely to take advice or follow direction; that they're narcissistic and haughty. They're all pretty big red flags, personality wise, for anything other than low-level physical work where you're mostly going to be working solo.
It's just really funny to me that Voidburger is even less of a personality than fucking DSP. Thousands of people showed up to watch DSP fall, in live stream. Who really cared when Voidburger got banned? 15 people? How many people actually noticed?

So it turns out that Void only posted a few questions on Twitter - as she mentioned, there was an outpouring of white knights after the initial wave of "harassment".
There's also a few more questions of interest, including a few I forgot from two days ago:
I left in the first comment because it shows how she genuinely thinks her brand of outspokenness bordering on flame bait is "minding my own business". Also, more of her old tactic of "my 'harassers' are all losers with no lives". And her weird belief that all of it comes from but a handful a people, which was actually addressed shortly after:
I feel like it's more a habit to protect her ego than anything else. By believing that there are only 2/3 people who are pathetic and despise her, rather than a number of people who have issues with her behavior, then she can let herself go on without stopping to fix any of her personal flaws.

Im pretty sure that a huge reason Voidburger is even with Chip at all is because she's using him as external validation that she isn't just a Social Justice "Nice Guy" and that she's totally different from the no-life, loveless, friendless losers she's supposedly so much above. She harps on those points all the time in her response to every one of her "trolls" and brings up whatever she and Chip, or [her] SO, as something else they could be doing. She even brings up her own self-loathing behavior as an example. But the thing about self-loathing attitudes is that they never really go away, you just push that shit down and put on a smile. The only difference between her and the guys she's arguing with is that she gets extra attention and affection for being a girl, especially a girl on the internet, and that she can have a boyfriend and treat them like complete shit because there are men who will put up with that behavior just so they can have the same external validation from the opposite sex.
I'll put it this way: a lot of people stay in relationships where they aren't happy or are even being abused, either because they want it to work, they're afraid they can't get anything better, or they're afraid of being alone. No one seriously thinks Chip's being cucked or w/e by my count. It's just an easy source of jokes because it resembles that sort of relationship.
This is the difference between a lolcow and a regular person: Chip doesn't shove his views into everything he does or get into Internet slapfights because he can't stop making inflammatory remarks.

Chip seems kinda freaked out by this thread, but at least Slowbeef looks like he's having a blast reading it.
To be entirely fair, you don't really need to make up any kind of fantasy to dislike VB or her videos, that comes pretty naturally.
Also it seems like Slowbeef's getting really rusty when it comes to insulting people on the internet. Five different tweets about this thread, and all he can manage to do is say people are being immature and call out on the people using anime avatars. It's not about what his political views are. I have said before I voted for Hillary and I think Trump is terrible, no one here gives me shit over it. Chip could be the biggest left-leaner ever and I'd honestly be closer to him them I am to a lot of my fellow kiwis, I expect. Voidburger gets shit on because she's a manchild who curses everyone else's privilege while remaining willfully blind to her own. People like her get threads because the privilege olympics have essentially become ordinary white people being told they should feel bad by rich white people. If you have never had to pay rent all on your own because there was always a safety net you could choose to fall on and you spend your time entertaining fantasies of being an LP superstar and your life is still plodding on fine despite these things, you are more privileged than all of the people you criticise.

The reality is that not many people give one fuck about any content creator's politics as long as they're not an insufferable frothing-at-the-mouth pants-shitter, which Voidburger is. Everybody has read books, watched movies, listened to music or played games made by people they'd dislike on a personal level.
