If option 1 means we get faster to the absolute trainwreck that is Blood Drive then yes, either way i don't think whatever content they added to the switch would be that meaningful, probably just custscenes of the characters from other schools dicking around like they did from the PSP to the PC version.

PSP Corpse Party Chapter 1
So compromise is shorter videos with me trying to add commentary after the videos in each post


EX Chapters will be uploaded as close to when it makes sense to see them

Yeaaah, same game i remember haha, im invested, but at times it does feel like the writer's fetish... God, i forgot how uncomfortable the incest tones coming from the sister are, if what you guys said is correct and the creator is into guro, i have no problem believing he is into other sick shit too
 

There was no need for underage lesbians in this, Foreshadowing x2, I don'tlike that this game has pantyshots of underage girls when they are dying or in distress, Ayumi fucked up again (I had more Commentary but I accidentally deleted it and forgot it

Commenting is okay as long as it does not spoil the plot

Dawg this really is the writer's barely disguised fetish, isnt it??

I remember Yoshiki being my favorite character in this game, wouldnt have minded him as the protagonist. Dude is much more interesting than Satoshi

Speaking of which, now that im watching this all over again, i have a theory... The creator himself, if he is the writer too, has self inserted into the story two times; First as Satoshi, aka the character he sees himself as (including some Mary Sueish factors like being lusted after by almost every girl in the cast including his own sister wtf and his only flaw being that he's a coward, but even then the girls just find that adorable and charming anyways) and the second time dude inserted himself as that sick fuck kid that gets off on guro. From what i remember, the kid's dialogue shares a lot with the game's overall writing, sticking out the most is this odd fixation on noting and repeating how this pile of gore and flesh, this dead girl used to be a functioning, living being a couple minutes ago...

Still an enjoyable watch tho

I was gonna add commentary to last chapter until something came up that just force me to focus on two things that are just wtf
So that plank part to get a tag? Optional, someone decided to make a section of the chapter where you reward for completingit is a tag of an dead 9 years old, like uh
And then when Satoshi reads the text before meeting Glasses Lady has the mention that there were MANY incidents of molestatio, rape and suicide at an school of preteens

This shit is fucked up

No that was in the psp port [after the original a reimagined version was made for Android/ios and that is the one that has had all these ports since with some changes over ports)


BTW I will semi spoil that the intro sequence has a part that is AT LEAST NSFW, I had forgotten this was in there and more and more I am disliking this game (I mean it has some part that are pretty good but all the fetish stuff is uncomfortable and it just.. keeps... HAPPENING!)

Switch version (PS4's the same) was frankly terrible with the lack of full 16:9 option (only CG illustrations were full-screen) in order to remove the useless UI on each side of the screen. There was an issue with the sound anytime you encountered Sachiko or the doll, like in the vid below:


It was particularly annoying during the final showdown.
This is from the original japanese eshop release that was wasn't updated much afterwards, no idea if the western release fixed anything.
So technically, you were right to stick with the PSP version.

Its so weirs though, i remember playing this a while back but dont remember a lot of the stuff im seeing now

I verified a video online of the not Japanese version, so far that sound did not play

Was planning on posting the rest of Corpse party psp but Ii barely slept last night so will do it tomorrow because i am terribly tired today

Anyone want to read or read what what added in the version after the PSP version? Mostly more deaths and EX chapters but the Swtich version may or may not have added two more characters to the main game? This would be a vote.
Also i do hope more people will post, not much sperging if there's not much posting
 
I say go ahead with the switch version instead of PSP, unless the latter has content the former lacks. I am actually blind to the exclusive content of the switch port, wanted to look it up but after seeing how the later games hinged more and more on referencing characters that debutted in manga spin offs, i decided against it to not fall down that rabbit hole.
