Women are fine, but generally I couldn't provide the support for most of them. And, I'm not at all interested in a straight *cough-normal-cough* lifestyle. That's just my own opinion. I would fail to be a faithful partner, as most gay men do. I wouldn't want to traumatize a woman who wanted a normal relationship with that. It wouldn't be right for her or for me. It's like those guys who get into a relationship and trooning out after she's pregnant: you fuck everything up. ...except without the creepy skinwalking and other TiM tendencies, of course.
 
The problem I have dating women now is that so many of them have low paying jobs and expect me to cover them. IDK how many times I have spoken to women to find out they’re a preschool teacher or something else that pays nothing.


Despite what everyone here assumes nearly every lesbian I meet is wary or outright hates troons. It’s very rarely an issue.

I meant moreso the social and emotional support. With the men I've been with, finances are all over the fucking ladder. There's poor, middle-class, wealthy, and ultra-wealthy. My observation is that it's a pretty even dispersal, but I think that it's all over the place because (generally) gay men don't mind age gaps as much. Our dating pool is smaller, so we're a little more accepting of some oddities and compromising. Though, that's not a rule. The picky shallow types absolutely exist, and are what allies like to imagine most of us as. I have also met a specific subset of consoomer gays that take up upper or middle-management positions and spend every dollar like it's their job, and then have frequent financhu crises. Usually they're autistic/furries. Call me vain, but it makes me feel better about myself that I manage myself far better than them despite making less. Especially when they say they're in "poverty" or say something along the lines of how it's "impossible" to get out of poverty in our nation. Anything but personal accountability with these men! I bet it's probably much different for women, especially with what jobs & roles are available, yeah?

I don't see a way to form emotional connections with anyone here. Everyone is a stranger and people are discouraged from putting forward their true selves. Plus a lot of the friendly people on the forums I knew are gone. It's like a rotating cast of people coming and going.
