Make sure you update blocktube from github as it get's updated more frequently than the extension store versions. I was having some issues with it a while ago and this fixed it - looks like the stores and github are in sync again for now however. I have that same suite of extensions and it's the only way to make youtube bearable anymore. Sponsorblock is especially funny on LTT videos when you start realizing 30% of most of their videos are ads ontop of the video being a giant ad in itself.
I swear it resets after some time. I 100% had channels appear again after a while (if I would have to guess 3-6 months usually).
I'm pretty sure that's true. I've had a lot of problems getting rid of channels I used to watch many many years ago at this point. They randomly come back into my feed/sidebar at some interval and I have no idea why YouTube would do this as they must know that tastes change over time. Maybe it has some proven click-through-rate that we're immune to but other users aren't.
I haven't gotten a single LTT or LMG video recommended by YouTube for years. Even after watching a couple of videos about how much they suck I only get videos recommended that talk about how gay LMG is. To be honest, I've never watched a LTT or LMG video, unless they are mirrored on the Farms.
When this thread contains more quality tech tips than a common LTT video. Bravo.

Nothing ever seems to be consistent with the YouTube algorithm. Some people report having no trouble getting a channel to go away, others see it constantly no matter what. I swear, they're fucking with us.
I wouldn't be surprised if the engineers who take care of YouTube lobotomized it the same way the engineers handling the Google search engine lobotomized that. They try to hide things, and while that part may work, you get a lot of anomalies and shit from it.
This is one of the many things I love about GN. They'll just drop several thousand of their own money, unsponsored, just to make a spite video and have fun doing it. And the codes to get a free intel/amd cpu if you spend $220 on their shop is pretty cool.

I agree that it’s bizzare. I’ve only heard of this being implemented at manufacturing facilities and refineries, where there is potential for actually safety incidents. Even then, it only applies on-site. Sounds like they have specific concerns about alcohol-fueled social / sexual misconduct.
